In all honesty, this travesty may have been what pushed Valve to do something with Half Life. Obviously Alyx was in development back then, but like many HL3 projects it could have needed up being cancelled. They must feel dirty having let something like this be published.

You don't, they change stance when player is around. But when they walk on idle you can see it. Use cheats for that or zoom in maybe.
