I think it's fine overall, but outside of the stronger combat a lot of what it does is already done well in the first game. Which runs the risk of making the sequel feel like they were just trying to squeeze a little more money out of Rapture before moving onto something new or really expanding on the original concept.
I loved the ending though. I think the sad/neutral ending where you do terrible things to save Eleanor but choose to let yourself die and be freed of your influence to allow her to find her own future is my favorite ending of all three games.

The series wasn't supposed to be horror but the first couple of minutes in the first game made retards think it was.

Not enough of them, not varied really, same for the stat system. Bioshock 1 was the better game and we even got to be a big daddy, no point in doing it again. If anything I was hoping that online detective searching for girls was going to be Bioshock 2 with more survival.

Maybe if your concept of being a big daddy is as limp and boring as possibly be. The clunking beast of destruction you are at the end of 2 is much more realized than just being a powerful Jack with a lens.
