How did you react when the phasmid turned out to be real?
Disco Elysium Thread
>fuck the police
>not Mother of All Walls
Conceptualization-let
What about I love you cuno
I ironically smiled, I was so happy for Morel and Lena. I'm a bit sad that you don't get the chance to call them up on the radiophone yourself, but I'm guessing Harry gives them a shout before the RCM breaks the news, and properly credits them both
CUNO's not a fucking pig!
Cuno's a wee shit, but also a based wee shit
utter trash game, pseud shit
God tier game. They don't come better than this, boys. Passion and quality and new.
as out of place as it may be in v/pol/, I unironically cried, great moment
>he shaved AND lost the expression
For the love of god man, why?
Well I just got the picture from the web though I did make multiple playthroughs. Personally I like to think that losing the expression at least helps Harry get over his ex-wife
>"But we *are* the police..."
The Expression is a fake smile, it masks Harry's sadness
You get rid of it, and you're exposing your sadness to the world
Yeah it's depressing, but it means that Harry might be able to smile for real some day
Dropping the expression is fine, it's the shaving that just makes it infinitely worse to the point even Kim questions your decision.
You are too weak for superstardom.
After checking the traps I told them I wasn't interested in going further.
Fuck, I'm going to need to do a second playthrough. Was thinking of going full Tequila Sunset next time.
I'm probably gonna use a trainer for one of the runs and see if I can fail virtually every single option for fun
I guess it's representative of not wanting to hide your (narcotic-inducded) scars, and that being clean-shaven is seen as being more professional
Whether those factors would add up in Harry's favour is up in the air
Though given that the RCM is at worst a neighbourhood watch, and at best a covert communist militia (or at least the Jamrock station is) professionalism is probably fairly optional
ain't it funny that canonically Cop of the Apocalypse is right, and Revachol gets nuked (by the Moralists?) 30 odd years after the game
During the debriefing, you have an option at the end saying you need to tell them, and your squad mates say Morel and Lena's home is on the way to the station, so they'll let you swig by to tell them.
That's from the book? Is it translated or whatever? What was it called again?
>drug boosts are temporary
whats the point of taking them then?
Just play Hardcore mode, it makes all the checks much harder
Temporary boosts
there are some pretty severe skill checks later in the game and they help out
also drugs are cool and cool people use them
Oh yeah, I forgot that's a thing. Either way I'll still need a trainer or something for health and morale
>Revachol gets nuked
No? The world is being consumed by the Pale, 28 years remain before it's all gone
When will the sequel hit again?
>gets nuked (by the Moralists?)
and weren't we right?
It was great because I was playing as someone who was actively pretending (poorly) to not believe in the plasmid while I as the player didn't believe in it at all.
The Sacred and Terrible Air, an English translation hasn't been released yet. It came out before Disco Elysium but is set 20 years after it.
>not the obscure indie band thing
Sacred and Terrible Air, English translation is coming out later this year apparently, get hype
To be clear, I'm naw an Eesti so my understanding of the wider setting is down to what is in the game, and what I've gathered from other folk- I heard that it's suggested that Revachol got nuked some time between DE and SaTA
Are all the Isolas collapsing in the 3 decades after DE, or is it just the Insulindic?
