I get that they wanted to make it so if you were heading towards the original ED that it wouldn't infringe on it but it felt jarring as fuck that this girl whose very attached to you just up and vanishes without a trace if you didn't finish Takuto's confidant in time.

I only got as far as meeting Haru with vanilla, and I'm between Yusuke and Motoko right now with Royal, so maybe I just haven't gotten to the part where they explain it, but is there a reason why the cops haven't checked Joker's phone? There's tons of text conversations about the Phantom Thieves' activities, their identities, and the identities of all their associates. He had to have had his phone on him when he was apprehended.
