Honestly the most memorable Resident Evil game
Honestly the most memorable Resident Evil game
idk about that, but I will say it gets more hate than it deserves.
>still haven't beat it because the BEEEES were pissing me off
with that said fuck the remakes
the mom is one of the more forgettable characters in this so don't feel too bad about her being hard or shitty
can someone explain to me wtf lucas was even doing in this game? was he only pretending to be a retard? how did evelyn not realize it?
I think Lucas had the benefit of actually being a sociopath from the beginning.
Marguerite is incredibly hard on your first few runs. She takes an inSANE amount of punishment, and can equally deal it out with her jumping attacks.
his brain was probably hard to read do to being insane
he got drugs from that one company he was working with that freed him from evelines mind control, so yes he was only pretending to be retarded, and eveline is also actually retarded for not noticing
It's is definitely one the most memorable and a breath of fresh air after two games that didn't add much to the franchise. It would definitely be in top with Re4 and well the og game as most memorable.
It's great that the developers aren't afraid of drastically changing how the games play and the tone and inspiration of the games, I can't think of any other big video game series that does that.
Also Lucas needs to be in Resistance with Jack as his ultimate provided the game doesn't die.
Cmon play not a hero its the free DLC.
Pretty much he enter in contact with the company that creates Eveline and was taking special meds that they give to hin soo he isnt influenced by her.She have a child like mentality and childs are retarded soo it wasnt hard to fool her.And
man its crazy to see how much the re engine improved, re7 looks like shit compared to their newer games
Its resident evil in name only.
Resi is a zombie game at its heart and re7 is not.
the only that actually looks like actual shit is mia and evelines hair
resident evil is about biohazards and thats what eviline's mold was. Stop being an elitist
I agree.
All jack boss fights are one of the most memeorable moments of the whole franchise.
And the sound in Marguerite fight really impressed me for some reason. Its very creppy.
Do the bakers eat people or ????
I too saw Texas Chainsaw Massacre
i don't remember anything about it other than rednecks, "welcome to the family", and mold people
oh and the DLC with the old guy that punches the fuck out of things
Yet...i guess is rotten people soo the mold can spread faster
I didn't get those vibes at all from the game
the faces in RE7 and cloth are a lot worse compared to RE2 it was night and day
they kill people for eveline and turn them into molded, but also eat some of them too, probably the ones that dont turn?
>play RE7
>having fun
>suddenly little girl with paranormal powers
the dinner scene is really the only thing, other than the initial premise of a crazy family that kidnaps people and fucks them up
Am I a retard if I found the demo more memorable than the actual game
The sewer gators were so charming for being a bunch of bit characters
the bakers faces are fucked up looking because theyre infected. mias do teeth look also really bad tho ill give you that
they let themselves really step away from what RE had been before, and while some of the gameplay was similar, it was scarier and more fun than anything before or since 4.
the guy who wrote the story is the same guy that wrote the FEAR games
It would be the third best classic style RE if it wasnt for some of its crippling flaws like the unskippable cutscenes (also the molded themselves are just a poor enemy type that doesnt lend itself to interesting visual variety). the baker estate is the best setting in the series though and ethan is the best protagonist, the baker family are the best antagonists etc etc. However id certainly much rather have this flawed game with greatness showing through than the soulless zoomer re imaginings of RE2 and 3
It was the first RE engine game while they were still figuring it out I'll cut them a little slack for that
why wasn't there an eveline rape sex scene then?
ahh the classic japanese little girl thats evil
Biohazards are the back drop for the zombies.
Its an excuse for boss monsters.
Its why the games went to shit after 3 when the zombies were sidelined.
The dinner scene is 100% a reference (and frequently appears in most backwoods horror) but tonally the game is closer to Evil Dead.
Would have been too based for modern western audiences
>lucas was a monster before evei showed up
There's the real surpise
ethan does stick something in her throat and blows a load inside her killing her instantly
Honestly the most generic, unoriginal, predictable and boring "RE"-game, that should not have been even called "Resident Evil".
Honestly the most generic, unoriginal, predictable and boring reply
A game without a real final boss can't be great no matter how good the game is from start to ending
It felt like a parody of Texas chainsaw massacre and Blair witch project with shitty Outlast inspired gameplay. I was rolling my eyes so hard during the garage fight with the dad that ends with him blowing his face off after doing sick ass donuts with the car.
The unskippable first 15 minutes can go fuck itself. Speed running this fucking game.
The real final boss is Lucas in Not A Hero, which was originally supposed to be part of the main game
you sound like an edgy leon fujo or bara chris fag
Just start a new game from a save right after the opening it it's not hard
>Outlast inspired gameplay.
What part of Outlast had combat and boss fights?
>Meet old woman in chair right at the start of the game.
>Cant kill her.
>Have to wait until the end of the game so that they can reveal the obvious
Who thought that was a good idea?
Jack is most based RE villain
>play RE7
>want to have fun
>suddenly shadow puppet puzzles, no enemy variety, autist main character, Cawadoody Chris DLC, QTE final boss and the entire ship section
>play a good RE game instead
>hating on Not A Hero
It's the best part of the game nigger
Chris was operator kino desu
But for me the biggest blunder was the lack of enemy variety, mostly because the molded are such a boring character
How is Ethan any more autistic than Leon or Claire?
