Devil Survivor 3 when, bros? This game was the absolute shit.

Never ever user. I’m sorry.

Better than the second one? Only played the second one, not sure why I did it that way

Reminder that Persona didn't kill mainline, it killed spinoffs. 8 years since DeSu2. Mainline had 4, 4A and V was announced in that time. Spinoffs got nothing

t.mageknight14

I personally loved both but the first has much stronger atmosphere and better routes.
Why did you have to remind me, user?
Who?

The problem is it has no reason to be a srpg. Positioning in DeSu barely matters. Beyond that it's a fine game, shame the art and writing are abysmal.

I would rather get another Majin Tensei game before a new DeSu game.

Should I play 1 or 2? I have both

They keep fucking up the anime adaptions. I don't get how it's so hard to not fuck up.

Why doesn't the protagonist of Devil Survivor 2 have any porn?

>Majin Tensei
Literally no one cares.
I’d say start with DeSu1 first.

Isn't that an FE youtuber?

Play them in order, there's not really a connecting story but iirc 2 references some stuff in 1

>Saw it in a nintendo power magazine and always thought it looked cool
>Picked it up on DS some years later and had a blast with it
>mfw that motherfucker Beldr shows up and this plays

I fucking loved this game. I think I went the Amane route and I remember the final boss rush being tough as shit. I might need to get Overclocked so I can play it again and then 2.

>mfw I recently found out that you can actually side with Keisuke and kick the shit out of Midori and Kaido

Can you play the orginal on DS or is there no point and you should just play the 3ds remake?

I care.

Exactly. No one.
Go for the 3DS version.

really enjoy when enemies get free turns for hitting basic attacks on defense and i dont when hitting weaknesses multiple times on offense

Is it true that in order to experience all the content, you have to replay the same parts of the game a tedious number of times? Or you have to do meet complicated conditions that almost require a walkthrough in order to do certain shit?

No one cares about DeSu either.

>he doesn’t know how to Skill Crack
You can actually unlock all of the routes on a first playthrough and even fast forward through dialogue as well as carry over OP demons on NG+. The game’s actually really well-tuned for replayability.

>Devil Survivor 2: Break Record (Atlus) {2015.01.29} (¥6.458) - 53.264 / NEW
>[NSW] Tokyo Mirage Session FE Encore (Nintendo) {2020.01.17} (¥6.700) – 18.797 / NEW
It's not fair that the series is dead! DesuRB sold pretty well for a spin-off not named Persona and was a complete success compared to the absolute bomb that was TMS:Encore.

They care for it a lot more compared to Majin Tensei. DeSu actually got a manga, an anime, and goddamn pachinko machines to boot.

>customization options
>desu
what

>The ending where the angels are like, "Okay, fine, we'll leave you alone. But don't do that shit again.

>he never combined Multi-Strike with Stone +, Pierce, and Marksman
You’re missing out, user.

Did you not play the game? Outside of the combining monsters, you could build the MC however you wanted, right down to attack loadouts.

oh you're calling the basic ass builds customization options
what the fuck is wrong with you

You forgot the best part: anti gravity tits

That's not the best part. Coomers get the rope.

That is what customization is, yes. You can also build your demons in a lot of ways as well.

that's not what skill cracking is
im criticizing the game for having a press turn system that isnt consistent and frequently seems to favor the enemy
it also sucks shit that the game wants the player to grind in a game thats pretty slow even for srpgs of the era

Neato, I'll have to give it a replay sometime. Tried it awhile back but the start was abysmally slow

If not being able to make your own build isn't customization, then what the hell is it?

>when the enemy is alone

don't act like that's something notable when it's intentionally gimped to be balanced in the basic ass srpg gameplay. if you want customization in smt play literally any other game in the series.

The main reason I used dance skills over ma skills.

>if you want customization in smt play literally any other game in the series.

M8, this is the same customization that's present in the other games. And by the way, DeSu has more customization than SMT1 and 2.

>no Haru/Gin 8th day explaining what happen with Aya
I'm still angry

The other games don’t allow me nearly as much freedom as Skill Crack does. Once you crack enough skills, you can assign them to just about everyone, provided they have the right amount of stats.

what's the brokest MC build in the original? some say it's spamming Holy Dance while I've also heard it's good to just pump STR and get Pierce

>3 active slots
>3 passive slots
>this is somehow notable
and you're wrong about smt 1 and 2 as well.

>this is somehow notable
Yes.

And no I'm not. The main character in SMT1 and 2 couldn't even learn magic. You could only dump points into stats. That's inherently less customization.

>Coomers
Wanna know how I know that you only started posting here a few months ago?

Game is based af, only did 2 routes tho. Will do the other 3 when I feel like it.

Second one has a better cast I'd say, but the story feels like utter garbage compared to the first game. I will replay Devil Survivor 1, but I am probably done with the second game.

Even if you did get a new one, it’s going to be more animeified like DeSu2 is.
