Did anything happened to economy in 1.10? Decided to make an aserai "Merchant prince", it feels like i can barely find any place to sell my discounted goods, rushed caravans and finishing up last workshop so i can do my own trading.

What skills do my clansmen need to run caravans?
I feel like my shit barely brings in any gold

my go to village for highborn youths got raided. I need way more of those guys.

what the hell's a highborn youth? I haven't run into that yet.
where do they typically spawn?

You mean for the "main" quest?
The main quests gives you nothing and at some point you just reach an unfinished quest you can't complete.
Just ignore the fucker, it gives you nothing at this point except for some exposition about the battle, if you give a shit about that.

At this point nothing at all.
And even if it did it's not timed, so you don't have to actively search for lords, just do your thing and if you pass next to a lord with a blue exclamation mark hit him up.

That's what I've been doing while I conquer lands for Vlandia #SkyrimbelongstotheNords but I'm at war with 2 other factions and wasn't sure if not being able to talk with their nobles would be a problem but fuck it

my first impressions are that the game is generally fun but the early game loop is very tedious. you're too weak to do most of the quests so its just family feud and herding for days, maybe some practice fight at the arena for gold. other than that its just grinding 30s looter fights

it took me way too long to figure out because the game tells you nothing but I just made a new char yesterday and i'm already at like 100k gold and clan tier 3 way better than my first guy after a much shorter time
Just ignore the quests, kill looters and bandits, hit the arena and max bet everytime to cash in tons of gold.
also git gud at smithing and you can turn all the weapons you find into thousands of gold by smithing and selling the iron
also learn how much things normally cost so you can spot deals and trade and sell for profit
tl;dr: fuck quests, hit arena, fucking fight people and also if you join a faction and theyre at war with anyone rob the other factions caravans

any tips for arena or leveling skills? it seems extremely slow in comparison to soldiers you train and people you fight. I usually just cheese it in a corner and only kill 4/5 people. like all my combat skills are 20-30 while I'm getting veteran soldiers, because every battle I get to kill 1-3 people before its over

what are your highest ranked skills and which have the most focus points?
in battle i usually start out with a bow and run behind the enemy and take shots at them before they get to my army, then come in with a polearm and rape face
also arena is super ez to cheese just run around them in a tight circle counterclockwise (on their shield side) while slashing them

on current playthrough its one handed, polearm and throwing. about equal focus in all of them
