God is there anything worse than richfag sims?

Look at their massive landed properties and hundred of acres of farmland. Time to redistribute the wealth forcefully.

do it faget i dare you

watch your hightech industry and high wealth commercial drop faster than you did out of high school

>avenues and grids, grids and avenues
I'm not american enough to handle this

>all those avenues
what the fuck are you doing

imagine living in a slum. Couldn't be me.

how do i make aesthetic slum like this guy instead of generic rich city

What's your gamer fuel?

coffee black only, hand cranked and dripped
just don't invest in any hospitals or education and keep indy as close as you can to residentials

What other games do you play?

tax the shit out of everything above low wealth
no parks, just parking lots, eliminate trees wherever possible
make sure to break up the pattern of grim residential districts with grim industrial districts
I find it extremely rewarding to have a huge fuck-off slum in the middle of a city, makes it feel real. it's one thing I miss in C:S

Commieblocs are BASED
and
REDPILLED

>hightech industry and high wealth commercial
how fucking vague
>no no, you don't get it, we NEED the rich!
literal stockholm syndrome

My city is like that. It's a very square layout originally meant for horses. I live near lots of farms too.

>low wealth
can your slumhoodia launch ROCKETS into SPACE??????????

Holy shit dude. Do you leave the game running 24/7?

Is traffic simulation decent in SC4? My favorite part of Cities Skylines is managing traffic, so I wasn't sure if I would like SC4 or not.

it's decent, but C:S places much more of an emphasis on it. if that's your favourite part then I'd say stick with it

>start up SC3000
>remember i still have no idea how to play this game

seriously how do you zone industrial and commerial?

traffic is superior to C:S if you run NAM mod.

I'd understand your position if you aspire to a plotical charge. But defending and promoting a plotical system being just a citizen is the most cucked thing you can do. No goverment will improve your life.

at the beginning of the game your population is going to be young and retarded. they have no useful skills other than being forced to work in basic industries/farming.
so that's what you zone. keep res and ind apart and keep growing the population until people start bitching for education. then start slow first with k-12, then high school, then college and so on. if you spam too much education trying to push everyone inside the cost will overwhelm your budget.

why are you building houses along parkways like that?? what a clusterfuck

>Hating on grids
Pleb.

i am also dumping some stuff hopefully helpful for new ppl getting into the game.

oh i never knew that

Thanks. I'll buy itt next sale. Fucking EA wants $27 for a 10 year old game.

Jesus why'd this make me nostalgia so hard.

Are farms worth it? They don't seem to add much funding for the area and services they require.

game's constantly on sale lad. in fact you can get it right now for $2 off a reputable site: isthereanydeal.com/game/simcityivdeluxeedition/info/

spoken like an isolated loser who isn't aware that local government exists
i know you think you're extremely smart for refusing to take a stance on anything pertaining to politics, but i see through it.

>Fucking EA wants $27 for a 10 year old game.
its literally 2 dollars on fanatical right now if you dont mind a steam key. otherwise gog has it for 5 bucks but they just ended a sale a couple weeks ago so it will be awhile before it drops again

Mac only. Would prefer steam key actually. I've always been wary of reseller sites. Is nuuvem legit? They have it for about $5.

Sim City alone has wasted 690 days of your life. That is almost two years.

How do you dare to waste so much of your life? How often do you think of killing yourself?

>Mac only
they send you a key that is redeemable on steam and there's no platform limit.

All life is wasted. In 200 years, no one will ever remember you or anything you did.

Speak for yourself.

haha well when you abstract it into oblivion like that, wasting so much of your time doesn't seem so bad!

manipulative cunt

the truth hurts

>soulless
>soul

peak comfy

They're good in the beginning since each square adds one job and literally anyone can do it. When you start, your population will be stupid so you can do farms then progress to manufacturing and then high tech industry

Thanks, bros. Just bought it.

there's a difference in resell sites. many are actually partnered with the actual publishers (fanatical, nuuvem, gmg, etc.) its the gray market ebay sites like g2a you have to be a bit careful with (they're generally okay, just whatever you do only use paypal like you do on regular ebay)

Urban planning research suggests that the best distribution of traffic flow comes from cities where the residential and commercial services have less discrete separation. Is this reflected in SC4 or does it cause a lot of issues to zone Commercial in Residential?

what are some essential mods for a newbie? Gonna get NAM. What else? Ideally don't want to overcomplicate the game before I learn the basics.

how do you give directions in yurop?

I can't tell if this is serious or not anymore

When will Sim City games take after Sim Theme Park kino and add camera mode where you can walk around you city as a citizen. If they already did I don't remember it.

Whats your opinion of other city builders? Like Cities Skylines.
