Read Umineko

We're leaving, Okonogi.

No.

Ninjutsu isn't real. It was just a bunch of tricks and misdirection used by professionally trained assassins and spies, embellished by ignorant peasants. Take off the cloak and stop talking to your imaginary friend Kanon.

Such a shame. You're missing out on a genuinely great, weird but somehow compelling story. It had a big impact on my life for a mere VN that was supposed to be a way to fill a void for a lack of games like Ace Attorney/Zero Escape/Danganronpa/Ghost Trick I felt near the end of 2014.
You gotta try it, at least for the enormous soundtrack breathing with variety and quality songs. On top of that, the sound design in this VN and its "prequel" are fucking top notch, even in the original versions without voices or "updated" graphics.

>tfw you realize Obito and Madara were trying to force everyone into the Golden land
I was really disappointed when it turned out that the main villain behind black Zetsu was actually Krauss[/spoiler] trying to use Chakra as a propeller for Moon Tourism. The madman

Fuck, I've always kinda disliked the antagonist motive of destroying free will, objective truth, emotions, etc, etc to "make the world a better place, free from pain". but... I really felt for Beato's and other characters desire for the Golden Land once I understood her reasons, so much so that I didn't even associate it with those other things until right now. That's the power of good writing I guess.

I see your point. I don't know where do you come from in life, perhaps you had a comfier upbringing than mine even, but since a young age I was always seduced by the ideas proposed by antagonists like Obito and Madara with their eye of the moon plan or The bluepill way of life in The Matrix. However you have a point in saying how Umineko's writing and in particular (HEAVY SPOILERS FOR THE ENTIRE VN INCOMING DO NOT READ) Sayo's pain and suffering, the nature of her inescapable situation in the body she had to live with were more powerful as fuel to highlight one's motive to go into full blown escapism. Perhaps it was because the issues she went through were more tangible and personal than the good old cycle of hatred in Naruto that Madara tried to get rid of, even if he himself was an hypocrite shinobi who enjoyed war and battles.

Reminder that Yasu would have ended up as a normal boy if he hadn't been thrown off a cliff.
Lion was sayo's OC (not even in a bad way, but it's clear shown that it's his sorta dream scenario) and would be very much different to an actual Yasu with his peenus weenus intact.
Man I love this VN. So many cool layers. I just wish that retards here stopped overblowing a at worst medicore finale that ends the VN well enough.

Reminder that umineko failed to actually solve 95% of its mysteries in favor of le epic "who cares it doesn't matter" bullshit. If you actually think this is a good story, you are a retard.

Well I think I understand wanting to change the world radically to reduce suffering, I just feel like in a lot of cases where the antagonist wants to go about it their plan inevitably causes a ton of the pain they're trying to erase. They become so radicalized that they more or less lose sight of their noble goal.

The person you mention was in an unwinnable situation and Ange who was the second biggest dreamer was in a pretty fucked situation too. The scenes of her in school during part 4 hit me harder than almost anything else in a game has.

>Reminder that umineko failed to actually solve 95% of its mysteries in favor
That's weird, because I remember reading the solutions in episode 7.

Aunt Eva would be disappointed, did you really stop thinking and just wait for the story to feed you all the answers in red text?

I'm in hell...

>retards still butthurt today this very day
Did you not even read episode seven?
The fucking manga had to outright SPELL IT OUT TO YOU because you have ZERO reading comprehension
Fuck off, moron.

I actually finished the game just last night. Shit was wild. I'm still in that feeling you get where you're stuck reflecting on everything. I know a message was to forget about the truth since it doesn't matter in the long run, but I can't help but feel bad for what actually happened in the massacre. except Battler's parents. Fuck em. Also feel bad for Jessica, she couldnt just get shot and had to get her face smashed in

This is spoilers for what? Sorry I haven't kept up with Naruto since shippuden ended.

I wish I'd read a real mystery novel instead of the diseased tranny's eblog. Fuck off.

>tfw you realize Gohda was the one who took Maria's rose
>tfw you realize how Eva's influence on George makes him drop passive agressive remarks targeting Battler every now and then
>tfw you realize why starting from ep 3 the magic battles became more flashy and shonen-tier thanks to a change in writers
And so many other little details like that. I love Higurashi, but I loved Umineko way more just for the enormous amount of hints and rules that made it actually more down to earth even with the magic/meta sections, ironically.
I hope you're baiting. You literally just had to think, the solutions while simplistic at times or unconventional and even retarded depending on your tastes were actually explained for the most part.

Out of topic and kinda random, but I'm currently attempting to read RGD from the beginning after putting it aside for a few months since I didn't remember when I stopped last time, and I'm a having a blast compared to back then. The MC is pretty based

adding to that, can someone help me with understand how kannon and shannon both exist? I understand how both were created, being sayo's persona for a perfect maid, and her gender dysphoria respectively. But how can they both be real at the same time along with her being beatrice in the secret gold room? or am I misunderstanding that that was in the fictional interpretations of the incident when in actuality there was only one persona present at a time?

The culprit solution, yes. Still doesn't answer how many of the locked room scenarios were performed, does nothing for the chapters where someone else found the gold and would have thus stopped shannon, explains nothing of the witch world, and doesn't even dwell on things like how no one was able to tell shannon and kanon were the same person, not even erika with her mary sue detective powers. Everything besides the most basic shit (who the culprit is for the majority of the game) is left up to your own theories. This is like the detective at the end of a novel just saying "it was him" and then ending the book.

>The culprit solution, yes
No, the solutions.

The first time I went through episode 4, I thought it was an unnecessary long torture filled with pacing issues during St Lucia. It's only during my second read that I understood the points Ryukishi was trying to make with her situation being kind of a mirror of Maria's and Beatrice's, leading her to cope with magic. I never cry at fictional stories but I had that feeling in the back of my throat, poor Ange. Glad the EP8 "???" brought a sort of positive closure to her story.

>gender dysphoria
Is it really though? I mean being raised as a girl and having your dong removed a few days after you're outta the womb would fuck up your not only your physical development but mental devlopment as well. I'd say it's more close to being intersex rather than gender dysphoria, since the latter is more of a mental condition/disorder/whatever the fuck you want to call it, while Intersex is more about your phsyical sex being completely fucked either at birth or due to an accident or whatever.

>Ace Attorney/Zero Escape/Danganronpa/Ghost Trick
These are all better, especially Danganronpa.

umineko is cringy as hell. reads like a teen girl's tumblr blog

>reads like a teen girl's tumblr blog
That's unironically the fanbase.

Obligatory magic isn't real post.

I figure since biologically, she has the brain and hormones of a boy, there'd be problems once puberty happened, and since she has no balls to drop like there should be, her brain is all messed up. Not to mention her having no breasts, causing her to question why shes the way she is. I also read some of the interviews someone had with the creator of the VN, he said she was unable to have sex, likely due to the accident, causing her anguish. especially when talking to george or battler on their future together

>/jp/'s fanbase ranges from some alright guys to outright retarded autists who spam shit for a 6 month interval at a time
>Outside of chan it's filled with a bunch illiterate retards who trying to use it justify what the story itself warned against it
It's fucking pottery, I will never not be mad.

>tfw just ate a bunch of dominos and sharted myself

shieeeeeeeeeeet
