Name 1 (one) thing this game actually does well
Name 1 (one) thing this game actually does well
Gore
the context-sensitive melee attacks are both always fun and satisfying, and have a legitimate tactical usage
Everything
Roundhouse>suplex
Change my mind
Very immersive first hour.
Over-the-shoulder perspective really puts you in the action
Game had a good setting and it was refreshing (misty day vs what we had in the other games which was permanight)
If the Presidents daughter was captured why did they send in one man and not a delta force team? The Special operations group that specializes (no pun intended) in hostage rescue?
Inventory management
Action and atmosphere for the first 2/3 of the game.
The fewer people they sent the less would be the probability of the public knowing
>worst version
absolutely retarded
I respect the hell out of the PS2 for its exclusives but it is absolutely abysmal for multiplats.
Has nothing to do with it.It was first developed to be an exclusive for the gamecube but then it got a rushed port for the ps2.
What you said is retarded, at most a Fireteam is like 5 people, and special operators are sworn to top secrecy
>invincibility frames
It's hard to point out just one thing because the game is essentially perfect.
They weren't expecting a cult so that's why they sent only 1 dude.
Leon doesn't work well with others by default, unlike someone like Chris who is trained to be
He's probably the most experienced non-military personnel they have who could go into an unknown area in post-raccoon city times (BOW fear all time high)
They have a mole/traitor in the white house and they can't trust a crack team of operators because you'll get another UBCS situation and then someone like Saddler would have won
Possibility Ada was hired by the CIA as a plan B but who knows
Gameplay
the point is playing multiplats on PS2 is retarded unlessnit' a game primarily developed for that system, like MGS2 (and even then the Xbox version runs a smoother frame rate, but it makes sense to stick with the console that has all of them)
Multiplats on PS2 are hell.
No thanks, BRO.
>and even then the Xbox version runs a smoother frame rate
factually wrong
A mole in the White house, a capable one too, would be a nightmare I imagine.
i forgot what scene this line is from and my brain placed it at the end on the jetski, the "no way fag" scene
gunplay, QTEs, shooting
It's fun
>Multiplats on PS2 are hell.
Unlike the last 2 gens, multiplats back then was on a complete case by case situation. It wasn't a blanket situation. Some versions were arguably better than others because that's where the devs dumped their money on. RE4 is an example for Gamecube. Hot Pursuit 2 is an example for PS2. Metal Arms is an example for Xbox.
Most if not all weapons are pretty fun to use
Because Leon has had experience with Raccoon City which makes him a very valuable asset plus he was a personal friend of the president
everything
Big american tiddies
Pacing. Every chapter feels just as exciting as the last. The gameplay at the ending doesn’t feel like an afterthought that was thrown together, as you see in a lot of games.
Makes we want to rip off Ashley's ears.
pacing
playing multiplats on PS2 was just a dumb idea in general
Everything but the QTEs
>Playing the gamecube version of Hot Pursuit 2
