The game has officially released globally for a couple days now. If you like card games and want something different from Duel Links, Hearthstone, Shadowverse, etc now is a great time to get in. They are giving out 20 free packs to everyone.
Besides just the card games there's a cool story mode that follows the anime episode by episode, a great OST and a My Room feature where you can collect different trinkets and customize it with your favorite characters.
They gutted this game so hard by taking out guarding. It's even worse than vanilla yugioh breadsticks which makes me sad since they rebooted the actual card game and could have just used that if they were worried about power creep.
I don't think it's about creep, probably more closer to they don't think people want games that go longer than 15 minutes.

Not really. The reboot makes some power jumps at semi random intervals. The difference between year 1 reboot and year 2 end is massive This too reboot games take a while to end

What’s b2p? And apparently it’s viable to f2p if you’re fine building 1-2 clans. But you have to grind a bit.
Benjamin Harris
I wish they solved that design challenge a different way
Literally all this "game" exists to do is create art of this cute sweater wearing femboy getting dicked mercielessly, preferably drawn by Kirimoto Yuuji
It's that and Bushiroad getting more experimental with effects over time. Some creep is inevitable when that happens
Jacob Perez
Yea I'm fine with that when the mechanics are cool
Zachary Taylor
They can at least do it once a year due to the clan structure
Grayson Ross
That seems to be the plan. Year 2 was only really weird because two super powerful sets dropped in the middle of it only to be hit towards the end of the yearly cycle
