It was really really weak and doesn't do justice to the original. There were a couple of tracks that were okay, good even, like the remix of the boss music that was playing during the airbuster fight and also the turk theme, the rest were ranging from passable to really weak. Mostly weak.

This one is amazing. Too bad it doesn't play in the correct location, because that location isn't in the game.
So many great musical themes are wasted or overused in this game, because they just couldn't wait to blow their load. The world map is the slums theme, for gods sake. The world map theme feels like a reward in the original game. In the new one, they beat you over the head with it. It would have been nice to actually hear the Kalm theme for the first time in, you know, Kalm. But whatever. It's a good remix at least.

It was added for a completely new arc that was added in the remake to flash out Jessie, Wedge and Biggs a bit more. This theme in particular plays when Cloud and those aforementioned 3 parachute down from the upper plate to the slums.
