I see a lot of information online about how to get S rank, but nothing about A rank. What are the requirements? Just beating Hardcore mode?

Any tips for nightmare/inferno mode? mainly when it comes to resource management. should I be saving all mag rounds and grenades for nemesis boss fights?

basically yeah, mag rounds for pale heads too

Play the easier difficulties to farm achievements, buy the Assault Coins, Lockpick, Bolt Cutters, and as many Hip Pouches as you can before starting. This way you'll be killing enemies really quickly, and will have access to a lot of stuff right off the bat when you're only fighting a handful of zombies at a time. Get good at dodging/checking if you don't have the defense coins.

This scene actually got me. I really like what they did with Marvin in RE2R, both Leon and Claire got to see a different side of an extremely brave person in impossible circumstances. Seeing how he got bit in 3 hit surprisingly hard.

What's worse is that based on that, and some concept art, it's pretty clear that people get zombified before they actually die, and for a short time at least are aware that they aren't in control of themselves any longer.

Yeah, it was rough. Marvin is a fucking stand up guy who deserved better. I hope they do another batch of Ghost Survivors, and we get to see Marvin escape somehow.

On the Results screen it literally tells you. It's winning the game in certain amount of time and with a certain amount of saves, for easy modo do not press continue and instead load your previous save if you die

Its been known since the original game "Itchy Tasty" but to see it in person is great. It's legitimately sad to see it happen and you actually get why Marvin hesitates long enough to get bitten.

m8 I have tried using guides they are useless cause I don't know which ones I've already picked up without doing another run and collecting each one from the start using the guide which is tedious as fuck

Fuck - I might as well be going for S right off the bat then, I know I can shave those 12 minutes easy by rushing the MAG at the hospital and immediately leaving afterwards, among other things.

Yeah, reloading saves in Assisted mode so you can keep farming points until you can buy all the extras in the shop. Then kill everything in Inferno/Nightmare by using the Infinite Launcher.

Has anyone fallen in love with Jill after this game came out, like people did with Claire?

You are robbing yourself of an experience if you use the infinite launcher in Nightmare/Inferno mode.

I used the assault rifle to get S rank nightmare and I still feel dirty for using it. Though the final fight tells you to git gud at dodging regardless of what weapons you bring.
Most speedrunners seem to use the burst handgun.

there is a file on the ledge after the final boss. After he is wasted by the railgun and go up the ladder just before the door that leads down the hallway.

you can always go back and do a no shop run when you feel confident enough
the nice thing about the special items is that they work like a difficulty slider based on your selections

lads I just finished it for the first time, and while it wasn't as disappointing as I expected, I'm still mad.
Because it was really close to being satisfying, it just needed one more good map in-between blowing up the train and Jill fucking dying and I'd be good. The game as it stands has an ok begining and a great end, but no real middle. Even through all the uninspiring shit, if it had a middle as good as the last section (Hospital - Base), it would have been worth it.

Also why doesn't Jill say the thing before killing Nemesis? Her line now is kinda shitty

the three files I had trouble where the one in the room where you get leons cop outfit in b scenario. the one in the palehead room in nest 2 (it's by the stairs leading up to the vaccine combinable) and the last one was after final nemmy up the ladder and before the hallway-door.

Or a few well placed shotgun shells. The key is to keep wailing on them until they stop 'steaming'. Low damage weapons like the handgun are not advisable.

FYI you don't need to get them all in one run and you don't need to refinish the game after picking them up.
If you have been rotating your saves you can just reload to the closest point.

As a guy who thought she was kinda uggo before release, I genuinely fell in love with her as the game went along.
Even her cringy swearing got fun for me at the end, you could really feel how she was just done with the big nigga in the last encounters. Was great.

Wtf really? You pick up a note that says they can't be killed, I thought that was the whole point of the enemy. Did they die in Remake2 DLC?

not home so can't post it, but on trueachievements theres a guide with a video showing where each file is and in the comments a list and timestamp for each one.

No idea why it would say they can't be killed. They're just resistant to standard weapons, and if you stop shooting them they heal off all the damage.

This is the reason I always take time to put him down, just in case he's in there somewhere.
