Even with the new character art, the faces still look stupid as fuck at times.

I'm a hundred percent sure that deep down most people including myself hate this game because the MC looks like a fag retard, and specially, the fact that he is way smaller than every girl in the game makes it incredibly difficult to like him. If the protagonist was like the one from the first game, it wouldn't have so many retractors here.

Nintendo own monolith, and while Breath of the Wild and XC2 were being develop, nintendo took part of the staff from XC2 to work on Breath of Wild.

XC2 really does tarnish Xenoblade's legacy in a lot of ways. It's why I always hope ppl new to Xenoblade don't play XC2 first. The first game is still the best game to start with cause it's THE undisputed classic of the series and has a lot lot less stuff that turns ppl off. I always say how XC1 is for people who love JRPGs while XC2 is for people who really love anime.

Because it used to be a good game that was anime but not too much. Now they turned it into incredibly over the top animeshit with tons of cheap fapbait "blades" letting the game look like animegame shovelware #9834754398. Which is frustrating because its still a nice game that didnt need that pandering. At least the Torna DLC mora than made up for it. Lora was a likable character with a good design, the party was great and the gameplay was much better than the clusterfuck that was Xenoblade 2.

Xenoblade 1 is actually the one that almost turned me off from the franchise due to its boring MMO hotbar gameplay.
