it's pretty good but because is now popular we gotta hate it

it's probably the most generally good game made this last decade.
while many games do specific things better and Hollow Knight never does anything truly new or different for it's genre, it also has no flaws and is pretty vast.

Played it through twice so I’d say pretty damn good. One of my favorite games ever aesthetically, and the game just feels nice to play.

If it was released by Valve 13 years ago exactly as it is it would be considered a cult classic that should hold a top 5 spot on IGN best games of eternity list. It is a really good game and anyone who likes 2D platformers should really play it.

I get that it's a funny prank but it pissed me off so bad when it happened after vibing with the game more than I have a game in like a decade, fuck off with that. A joke isn't funny if it affects the player for the rest of the damn game.

The thing is, I feel like a better ending to TGT is banishing them and not letting the cycle continue. But then I don't get to fight NKG...

If you save Zote every time, he eventually moves in to the main hub area and you can hear him blathering in the background whenever you're in town with no way to get rid of him after that point.

Much worse though is that if you buy all of Salubra's charms and ask for her blessing, you get a passive heal whenever you stand still. Not only is this probably a little useless at the point where you get it, but it means you can't stand still and appreciate the atmosphere anywhere without Salubra popping up and doing her annoying huehue laughter. It doesn't even stop if you're at full health.
I completely forgot about the accordion guy, but I guess that stands, too. I just reasoned that I could fight NKG in godmaster so whatever.
