What's the biggest piece of shit you've ever played?

certainly not that, mgs2 is one of the greatest of all times. pic related is actual dog shit
Carter Perez
>story mangled so it can be a multimedia franchise (DLCs, movie, novel, anime shorts)
>really shitty gameplay for an action RPG
>game trying to make you feel sad for characters that died when they had fuckall screentime
>empty open world meme
>important shit happening off screen (shown only via DLC or patched in months after release) so you only knew what happened in casual passing
>an entire trailer patched in as a nightmare sequence that has no relation to the story
>a 10 year timeskip that does nothing and any major story bits during it are in a Multiplayer DLC for a Singeplayer game
>true ending is in a novel and full of retcons
Leo Stewart
From begging to end? Probably Batman Arkham City and Zero Time Dilemma.
Isaac Evans
I don't think it was THE BIGGEST piece of shit. But it's certainly one of the most mediocre AAA games I have ever played, especially from square. The sad part is they had all the set pieces, the story is actually pretty good along with the lore. But the way it's presented is not very good, and I never real felt connected to any of the characters. They all felt rather empty.

ur mom the game

LOL fucking SAVAGED how will Op EVER recover!?

I wasn't really into video games when I played MGS2 but it was so good I stayed up to beat it twice in one sitting
Andrew Sullivan
Not that one, which is a good game.
Aiden Thompson
Bad Game is Bad, weird mish-mash of MGS and splinter cell where you can't get away if caught, just have to sit and take it until dead.
Josiah Williams
was meant to include a pic of vampire rain, not implying MGS2 is bad

That's actually fucking wild how long did that take
Kayden Reyes
Bro what? Arkham City was pretty good. Theres no way it's the biggest piece of shit you've played.
Ian Lee
I find it really fascinating that we have posters here who simultaneously have no idea what a good game or a bad game looks like.

without listening to the arguably superfluous codex it can be beaten in like 7-8 hours first time if you're good and playing on normal. second time through cut that down to 4-5
Ryder Gonzalez

>skipped all the stuff you play it for

i'm not that user i'm just saying the game is short if you skip a lot of the conversations. i've listened to them all multiple times

MGS2 is the ultimate pleb filter, easily the best game in the series. I’ve noticed that people who hate 2 tend to like 4 as well (by far and away the worst in the series).

4 was a fucking mess because it had to resolve the loose ends from MGS2

Overrated: To mean I can't even call the game bad I'm just incensed that others have the nerve to like it more than I do.
Carson Martin
Yes? They weren’t meant to be resolved, Kojima intended to end it at 2 but he slowly became a hack ever since 4 was released. 3 was the last good MGS game.
Daniel Collins
4 was a mess because it chose to focus on that.
2 as a standalone game and a MGS sequel is perfect.
Eli Perry
I used to think 3 was the best one, but thinking back at it 2 was the best one. It had the best gameplay. 1 was the best overall for the time, but its outdated as hell. Even 3 is outdated. 2 almost is less outdated than 3.
Xavier Hill
>chose to resolve the deliberately ambiguous loose ends because retards can't into thinking
or maybe the fact that Kojima teased a sequel in MGS2's ending where Snake said he would take care of Ocelot and The Patriots.
Cameron Anderson
MGS2 was meant to be ambiguous, it didn't need 4 and stands perfectly fine on it's own. That being said I still enjoy 4 despite the flaws.
Ryder White
He intended to let his team make the sequel without his direct involvement. If only they actually happened. MGS4 was the beginning of the end of the series and Kojima games in general. I 1000% certain whatever his team came up with would have been superior to the trash fire that was 4.
Josiah King
That game was so bad I think I had blocked out the memory of playing it until now.
Liam Sanders
Nobody asked him to solve loose ends. People just wanted a sequel to 2 and the shit they were going for (infiltrating into a warzone) sounded ambitious and interesting.
What we got was some decent gameplay - but nothing they had set out to do - hidden in copious amounts of retarded story.
Dominic Cruz
Zachary Miller
3 was disappointing gameplay wise. the story and presentation were great but the game itself really took a hit with all the 'open' environments and menu scrolling 'survival'. The drop from 2's 60 to 3's ~24FPS is jarring, too.
MGS works best in a closed environment.
Michael Cruz
I’m posting it in a “biggest piece of shit you ever played”, so yeah I’m calling it bad.
Carter Evans
Jace Price
3 really soured my initial experience of having played the crappy camera version. Kojima was a faggot, refusing a good camera because it '''''made him feel dizzy'''''
I guess he overcame it, since every game since 3 featured a fucking over-shoulder point of view.
Aiden Russell
This post reeks of someone who only plays AAA games. If this is the worst you've ever played, you haven't played much.
Chase Perez
>Nobody asked him to solve loose ends.
I am pretty sure there was a big fan demand to that and a big negative backlash to Raiden or else this would not of happened:

This. The only co operative game I've play that was dull.
It wasnt buggy or rubbish just completely average, unimaginative and a complete let down all the way through.

I like MGS2 but the part where fortune deflects missiles without her protective device was really stupid. Also the action was overly-indulgent in some places.
