NOMURAAAAAAA!!!
Did Max beat it yet? I want to see him react to the bullshit that is FF7R.
>they announced nojima was cowriting it
It was all over the fucking wall that it would be shit
Internet hype man is sad??? What happened in the ending to make blonde fighting game guy sad???
He is shilling the game hard. Not surprising since he is paid by square for streaming
Is that Chinger-changer actually upset? This might be the only redeeming factor of “Remake”
Isn't FF7 supposed to be like, 200 hours long? How did everyone finish it so quickly?
Fake enthusiasm man with cringey millennial YouTube custom thumbnails of ARROWS, POINTING AT SOME, FAKE MOTION EFFECT, SURPRISED BUT NOT REALLY FACE.
Fuck MaxDood and his Capcom paychecks.
Max isn't shilling as so much as blinded by fanboyism. He's more than willing to ignore the flaws and focus only on the good parts because he's a hardcore FF7 fanboy.
They literally just took the first 4-5 hours and stretched it into a full game
He's only uploaded footage of the first 2 hours. He might have played more on a stream.
Just a couple of hours ago he called it objectively superior to the original, and called out any haters as nothing but people that wanted an exact replica of the original but with better graphics though.
That's a problem because him not acknowledging the flaws means he is shilling the game to people so they think it's a good adaption.
What a hypocrite then. For years a 1:1 remake was all he wanted. He will shill hard until it’s out of the limelight then circle back on it and shit all over it. He does this with everything.
Wait until he gets to the end.
Nanaki isn't playable in Episode 1 and there are time ghosts everywhere. Inappropriately playing music like the overworld theme in Midgar Slums kills it's proper mood setting and payoff that was supposed to happen once you leave. You can make an entire thread dedicated to new content like dumb time ghosts pushing Aerith back onto the church balcony. Or Cloud hilariously stopping to kill someone because the time ghosts say don't do that.
Of course MaxD00d loves it, he's a quasi marketer for companies. If he doesn't want to get blacklisted, he'll say this. He's pathetic.
>Inappropriately playing music like the overworld theme in Midgar Slums kills it's proper mood setting and payoff that was supposed to happen once you leave.
that pissed me off the most. They just want to bank on as much nostalgia as they can I guess. It feels so wrong. Not to mention seeing so much sunlight.
wait it's that short?
Not even any chocobo racing or weapon battles?
It's like 30-40 hours. Still pretty short for a JRPG though.
yes it's only up to the end of Midgar. People keep saying it's 1/3rd of the original, but they must be remembering wrong. Midgar is maybe 1/12 of the original game, not counting when you revisit of course.
Yeah, I was about to say, everyone only ever seems to remember intro Midgar but it was practically a small blip in the whole story
yeah midgar is just the tutorial to the game basically lol
The black materia isn't even in midgar .
>200 hours long
The original is only 30-40. I'm not sure why you got that number from.
why the fuck do you retards care about what max thinks all of the sudden
I always personally considered Midgar escape to be the end of the tutorial phase of FF7. Once Barret gives you the walkie talkie you're set....after the Kalm flashback, but you're then legit set for the rest of the game.
I'd wager some of you have forgotten but you're not locked out of Midgar forever, when you do that digging mini game for the key item to follow Aerith to the ancient forest place to pray for Holy you can also dig out a lost key(?) to reenter the Midgar slums at any time. Plot wise you're forced back by Disc 2 but it's still hella cool you could've revisited Midgar in Disc 1. There is a 0.0% chance you will be able to run back to Midgar and SquareEnix will have a "oopsie" time ghost snatch the slums key from Cloud.
Because he's been gushing about this game for years and we want to see him die inside when he finds out they ruined it. Unfortunately the power of shilling is too strong.
>noname guy pops up
>is a hardcore ff7 fan
>plays remake
>plot change ghost rape starts
>"the music is great"
yeah, no, fuck off square enix
so it's just for shitposting?
>people waited 5 years for this game
>I want an authority figure in my head to hate this so my hate is validated and if he doesnt hate it he was paid off even though he completely shat on REmake 3
in reality youre a permanently assblasted sub 70IQ shitskin third worlder who lacks the brain capacity to assess the quality of anything
Duh. He's also probably the most well-known FF7 fanboy and if he hates the changes it'd be a huge blow to public opinion on the remake.
what's the point of a remake if it doesnt change anything?
why are we remaking good games instead of remaking bad games?
why are people confused as to why they would change stuff up when the game has been permaspoiled for like 20 years?
Why are people wasting their time playing a remaster if they just want to play the original so badly? FF7 is on literally everything nowadays.
I just dont get it.
I'm waiting for Xenoblade chronicles 3 at the moment
The game is 18 chapters long and as far as the original is abridged, chapter 15 is a full chapter to the top plate of sector 8. (Plate 6 is rebuilding and plate 8 is where mako reactor 1 sits)
Basically this remake expands a bit but it's pretty much padded.
15 chapters in, 3 chapters left, The acid trip is close at hand. Maybe after shinra tower. At this moment I want a gormott type level design, everything feels like the world tree. Very linear.
The onions boy e celeb to end all onions boy e celebs. Do you fags actually watch this? Pathetic.
>we want to see him die inside when he finds out they ruined it
that's pretty sad my dude.
Tbh I'm much more interested in hearing Plague's thoughts since he's a FF7 purist who has been ranting about every change to the story the remake has made in his live streams. I'm actually afraid he might get an aneurysm during the ending.
I wonder if people who hated the remake were too hyped up for it? The hype died for me when they announced it was gonna be episodic but I ended up really liking the remake when I finally played it.
more like 20
>200 hours
God, no. Even to 100% that isn't the case.
He might actually die during the ending.
He has negative chill.
5? at least 10 youtube.com

All very good questions.
The only conclusion we can make is this: Remakes are kind of stupid.
Shilling implies he's trying to sell the game regardless of how he personally felt about it, good or bad, but if he thinks it's a great game because he is blinded by fanboyism, then that's just being a fanboy.
This is the thing that started it all.
This is the thing that made people NEVER EVER shut the fuck up about a goddamn Final Fantasy VII Remake.
This tech demo should never have been made.
link?
thats possible, I was always looking forward to it, but around 2018-2019 I stopped following because it looked like it was in development hell, and then the date got pushed back further this year, but then the demo came out and I was hyped from that point. I enjoy most of the game, but I do wonder if all the cuhrazy stuff was there at the end just to justify blowing their sephiroth load on part 1, since they couldnt wait.
He actually figures out the ending of the game in the middle of his stream. He exactly says what the time jannies are and that square talked about it months ago.
I mean, there's a reason why Midgar is padded as fuck in the remake. It's not very long on its own.
He's nowhere close to the end. Expect a few more days of utter shilling until Chapter 18.
Check his twitch channel videos. So far he's ranted about every single one of Sephiroth's appearances, Jessie Raspberry being an actress for the Gold Saucer, the flaming homosexual SOLDIER on the motorbike and the flashforward to Aerith's death immediately after meeting her for the first time.
Plague complains and bitches about everything. If the game was exactly the same he would rant about "this game wasn't needed, why even bother making it just to appease nostalgia"
God I want CSB podcast dedicated exclusively to Pat and Plague sperging about it. Please God.
I doubt that since he praised the parts of the game that were faithful to the original.
Pat likes it and Plague hates everything.
I don't know if that would be entertaining content.
>Oney, the biggest FF7 simp online, hates Remake
Oh nonononono
Did we get too cocky, ghostbros? We thought normies would lap it up!
I liked it.
Imagine paying 60$ piecemeal for the exact same game you played 20 years ago.
I love the universe it's set in and I think in a nice wordplay on the term "remake" where Cloud remakes destiny.
The only issue I could possibly have is if they fuck up the overworld, the submarine part with the sunken bomber, the highwind and Cid.
youtube.com
Pat hasn't finished it yet.
CHINGA CHANGA
>Oney, the biggest FF7 simp online
No that honour belongs to The Completionist
>having a faithful remake that expands and improves on the original
that has never happened.
I'm just saying Pat doesn't hate everything like Plague does so he might still like it even after the ending.
How the hell were they not put off by the frivolous side plot and Roche being shoved in between the two Reactor missions?
I was completely put off by that stuff entirely.
>What is Metroid: Zero Mission
Roche wasn't even the point of that side plot.
He was a side plot to a side plot.
DID SOMEONE SAY ROCHE??????????
BANG YAHOOO WOOOWEEEE YOOOOOW YEEEEAAAAHHHH PLOING
What Gmod video is that from?
pretty much this, im almost willing to buy ff15 to see what squares idea of an overworld is now, but I haven't even seen more than a few seconds of its gameplay, I can't wait until Cid shows up.
