Let's start the day with a hearty greeting! Good morning!
fuck off weeb
why you gotta be like that?
Let's get married, Meg.
It's midnight
Just bought RF4 Special.
Any beginner tips?
Do not neglect to level crafting and forging. Make a weapon by forging all level 10 materials no matter what they are, and you'll have a 700 atk weapon at the start of the game.
Take your time, there's no need to rush through the story, you can spend your days peacefully building up your farm and relationships as long as you want.
Prioritize getting a monster barn and catching some cows, chickens, and sheep for consistent income earlygame. Feed your monsters their own item drops for like a week to boost their friendship level so they start giving you higher level drops to sell.
Crafting is required to not die to everything after the first few dungeons, so you want to get one of those.
Fuck the knight girl. Also, the knight girl will always join your party immediately after you meet her, and she trivializes the first two dungeons. Every other townsperson will generally require 3 or 4 Hearts/Smiley Faces before they'll fight with you. It's probably better to only focus on 2 or 3 since it'll get expensive to give everyone their own gear.
Play on hard
o-h-h-oh-o-oh-o-oh-o-o-ohayou gozaimasu
You shouldn’t joke about something like that.
Playing RF4 3DS and I've beaten the first three bosses on hard but am seriously considering moving down to Normal.
The pace of is slow since I have to work for better gear for each new dungeon but I don't feel like I'm ever getting at the threshold of just getting some passable non-tutorial gear to do alright with. Some materials never drop and crafting ONE thing with decent stats takes up my whole rune points bar even though it's not that much of an upgrade, so I have to autistically keep making things I don't need to level up the skill and then eating/cutting rune flowers to restore whatever I can.
I don't really like the gameplay loop as is, I feel like I'm stuck in a rut moments away from everything clicking into place and opening up, but nothing is happening yet because it's just barely grind gated out of reach, while the monsters after the mansion dungeon have gotten noticeably tankier
play on hell mode. Just craft a broad sword using (15) lvl 10 items
Just married Xiao. How much i have to wait until pregnancy?
You are using the bath house right?
I recently started RF4S and I’m getting walled hard by the part where you’re forced to go solo and fight the Sarcophagus. I don’t want to lower the difficulty yet, but I’m starting to realize how dependent I was on Forte neesama and Xiao Pai to kill shit for me.
Also, is it bad to only focus on one weapon? I like spear, but don’t want to grind out the points on everything else, and a lot of my magic feels useless.
It's way better than breezing through everything user let me tell you. Fastest way to level up forging is through upgrading as it gives a set amount even if you're upgrading the most basic weapon.
14 days after they ask about having a kid for them to get pregnant and 20 to have the kid
>Just saw Dolce's newlywed event
Literally any other girl is an unquestionable downgrade, holy shit
Don't combine the cooking equipment. As far as I know you can't undo this and having combined equipment becomes annoying later on when all you need is the mixer for juice.
were the double swords op, or was i just underleveled on the other weapons?
For me it's Clorica
Dual swords are good for the first part of the game but in later dungeons, you'll want to equip a shield for extra stat boosts if nothing else
Gloves and Spears are where shit gets ridiculous
Staff is generally considered the strongest.
>Staff
Has someone made an Excel of ingredients and combined attacks for staves yet?
Not that I could find, be the change you want to see user. Or do that for RF5.
I love her.
Any news on that speaking of which?
Nothing new yet
KIMOCHI NO II ASA DAGA
>teleport back
>try to use the savepoint
>First thing Xiao do is fall and destroy it
every fucking time
Heyrasshai!
Xiao was a mistake
Huh, really? I was just sick of Pico the whole time.
I can't decide between Forte and Xiao
You know the correct choice
Couldn't get past the first chapter of this game, it just doesn't seem as engaging as RF3. I already didn't like the whole Prince system from hearing about it.
>4 Town Events just to marry her
Fuck that.
>4 town events
>Her favorite item is pineapple juice-a lategame item that you can make only after getting the recipe in Rune prana, drink a lvl10 Relax tea after power levelling or if you get lucky in a field dungeon
>Her issue is the same old recycled "Waaaah I'll outlive you!" bullshit
How could they fuck up one character so badly
I hope 5 lets you customize the other character's abilities and has a separate equipment menu instead of them equipping whatever you gift them.
Who is considered the consensus girl in Rune Factory 1? Playing through it now and nobody has really grabbed me so far except maybe Rosetta. Might just go with Lynette in the post game.
I was fucking pissed finding out Lady Ann wasn't a bachelorette
based
Apparently there's a glitch that lets you marry one person while still dating another, so I'm just going for the threesome.
Weak
Xiao will inherit the bath house (which i hope you didnt nationalize, you potential commie), forte is just a saber wannabe.
I wanted to fuck Pico more than Dolce honestly.
Any sample forges and upgrades? I'm currently at Rune Prana 2 with a hell staff upgraded with rainbow pot and dragon bones for piercing magic.
>Fuck the knight girl
Not him, but I'm in the process of courting her and I will tenderly make love with her after we marry. Also, her birthday is coming up and I really need a chocolate cake for her.
But I can't wait until we're officially a couple and get to kill monsters and save the day together with our pet turtle, Squirt.
>But I can't wait until we're officially a couple and get to kill monsters and save the day together with our pet turtle, Squirt.
I waited to save the world in part 2 until I had my daughter.
I need to get back to playing RF4 special but Animal Crossing has taken over my switch.
Clorica a best
Is there some kind of guide on how to make a viable weapon for tackling rune prana? Kinda stuck with the sudden grind spike
Just keep making whatever strongest weapon you can. Grand Impact is great for clearing out rooms before you get mauled.
Just go to Sherance Maze and befriend a monster you can ride, and a monster that uses magic. You can beat the rest of the game without having to do anything other than avoid damage when you're off the monster.
Any advice for gitting gud at combat? It feels impossible to dodge shit when there are 6 enemies in a room all trying to kill me, especially since they'll just attack in the middle of my combos.
I should continue playing this. Last time I played, I was saddened by the fact that I couldn't get Clorica the apple pie she deserves for her birthday.
I haven't done a china romance run yet, but I've heard she proposes to you. Does she get sad if you reject it? I want to bully her.
>venti disappeared just before her birthday so I couldn't give her pancakes
FUUUUUUCK
There is always next year to give her the pie. At least you aren't going for Xiao or Amber who love super late game stuff.
more like a good dicking
I feel like I’m missing out on a lot of things by not having played the previous games. I thought the talking request box was going to be a big plot important thing on my first playthrough, then I looked it up and realized it was just a reference to a magic tree from RF3 or something.
It's never too late to try them.
