Hate how Remake didn't create two proper scenarios and ditched the hard vs easy difficulty setting for Chris and Jill. If you didn't know, Jill is literally meant to be easy mode. You can actually blunder through like a moron and Barry will bail your ass out a few times, you have two more slots, and you get the grenade launcher weapon on top of what Chris gets. They could have simplified it with both get 10 slots, Chris gets the magnum and shotty, while Jill the Grenade launcher.

As for proper scenarios, have Jill be the one who goes thorugh the front with Wesker and Barry, while Chris is chased by dogs and jumps through a side window. In both games, Barry will vanish in Chris's scenarios, and I think it would make more sense if both side characters existed in both scenarios.

He just reads online posts for a living. If this thread gave a lead on Izenh's identity for instance, he would just read these posts and whatever the lead was and get 250,000 views. He never did any of the research himself but he just benefits entirely from it, ie he's a parasite on the nerd/gaming community. Pretty much all the youtubers are. Someone like Tom Scott who actually goes out and interviews people and films around the world is the exception.

That's still the case. She's still EZ modo.

I get where you're going, they could've done a lot more with the campaign differences, but the above is still very much in place.

In the original ther'es character select, and i nthe original Japanese it literally says Hard for Chris and easy for Jill. In the remake we get a hard/easy character select, and then we get another kind of artificial hard/easy select as well on top of that. I like the original's approach as it's much cleaner and less abstract.

I also think that Jill is the lesser experience since you can blunder like a moron, have the best weapon in the game with tons of ammo (grenade launcher). Chris feels like real RE.

Probably, but I wouldn't want to take on Real Survivor/Invisible without the grenade launcher. It's already a pain in the ass with it.
Chris makes for the much better default Hard playthrough, though. You're missing how Jill's lockpicks mean you can skip half the encounters in the mansion on top of her other EZ modo deals.
