Haven't docked it once but yea i'm enjoying it

Yes, can't wait for Xenoblade.

Yeah, it's been good. Hopefully Nintendo announces a couple more things before vouchers expire. Excited for NMHIII, but I doubt that makes this year.

yes

odds of nintendo's next console being backwards compatible with switch games?

Yes very much. I just wish all my friends weren't ps4 cucks so I had someone to play with online.

I keep asking "How do they top this" which is a good indication for a console

I really want to buy one but they're sold out worldwide.

High. It will just be the Switch 2.

Just got one recently, I think what I like most is that I can play cRPGs while I shit now.

I'm enjoying my Switch but shit you have low standards, no imagination, or both

same user.
picked mine up about a year ago and despite only having about 6 games (soon to be 7, pic related) i think its been a good purchase

No, I don't know what games should I buy for it, I really want to dig MHX, buy I don't know if the community is active. Recommend me some good games.

Yeah, it's almost certain to be another Nvidia chip with DLSS. Hopefully a better form factor/build quality too.

It will definitely be NVIDIA. Didn't they sign a 20 year contract with them or something?

>memories of the kinect and ps move in the wake of wii's success
It's gonna be impossible to even pretend they came up with their own ideas independently this time but surely the Switch's success is too significant for Sony and Microsoft to not attempt to rip Nintendo off again, right?

You're joking right? There are COUNTLESS ways to improve upon the glaring flaws of the Switch - from the Joy-Cons, to the oversized and useless piece-of-shit that is the Dock, to the fact that the Switch isn't actually practical for handheld play, Lite included, to the fact that the Lite can't fucking do docked mode.

>the internal specs
>the shitty screen
>the shitty dock
>the shitty plastic material everything uses
>The ergonomics
>finding a way to blend an actual Dpad onto the joycons and the buttons
I own one by the way, before you start conspiracy posting

Help my Switch won't get past the logo at the start when I turn it on what do I do

they won't because they remember what happened last time.

Sony is already copying them. The ps5 controller has the same haptic feedback as the switch controllers.

Don't have one waiting for a price drop, so another 3 years

Nothing wrong with the screen or the plastics.

Specs are/were totally fine for the price and form factor.

Not since my joycon started drifting

PM'd you the fix ;)

>oversized and useless piece-of-shit that is the Dock
>then complains about the model that gets rid of it
are you ok? did you have a stroke while writing your post? did you also forget that the dock is still smaller than pretty much every console besides the ps2 slim or the wii?

No its a soi machine and i was a fool to get it.

>playing switch online

If I could buy one? Yes.

We don't know the exact details, but they mentioned decades, so that's reasonable barring something catastrophic

It's a Nintendo console user,so for the most part exactly what you would expect.
Animal Crossing just came out.
Smash is pretty fun.
Mario Odyssey is supposed to be really good.
Splatoon 2 is also a lot of fun but I'm not sure how active it still is.
Zelda of course.
A few good ports of Wii U games if you never had one of those either. Hyrule Warriors and Pokken are decent.

Aside from that you can probably find some smaller indie titles you would like if you just browse the eShop.

Are you retarded? The improvement would be having the switch still capable of outputting to the tv with a better designed dock. Most of it is just plastic.

Nvidia said their relationship could last 20 years which is a very specific thing to say. I wouldn’t worry about them not offering a new Tegra mobile chipset

I really want to get one but I'm really worried my dad will tell me to grow up and no one will take me seriously.

What's with this stigma of adults playing nintendo getting treated like manchildren? I don't wanna play grimdark rape fantasy games all the time. I just want to take it easy and do some platforming with vibrant colors. I don't act like a kid. I don't collect toys or anything. I'm tired of the stress of life

I've been holdong off for MHNext, but with all the delays who knows we probably won't see it this year

i have no idea what to play

There's what, like 2-3 exclusive games worth playing?

I actually hate the docking aspect of this. Why the fuck does it require two walls? A stand like the Wii U gamepad had would have been enough.
I can't use any sort of third party peripherals while wanting to dock (primarily gloves/protectors)
with the Wii U game pad I could

I modded mine, but feel bored with the system and beaten the games I wanted to play. It's been collecting dust honestly.

At first, but late 2019 and ongoing 2020 has it dead so I'm back on the PC.

The switch lite purposely lacks that feature so that they can sell it at the lower end of the market without cannibalizing switch sales. And there won't ever be a smaller switch because the joycons are already the smallest possible size they can be while still being usable.

I got the Megaman X collection for the sale. All those games still hold up. I expecte X4 to be as meh as X5 but it was really fun to play even as Zero

Unironically yes. I know everyone bitches about it being a "port machine," but those ports have been giving me the chance to play games I never had the opportunity to play originally. The portability is just an added bonus even if I don't use it undocked all that often.

Nintendo just has a very family friendly image. Lots of bright, colorful games makes it seem like they're a company only for children. Same as watching anything animated, regardless of the subject matter a lot of people still see "cartoons" as something only for little kids. Anything colorful in general is apparently only for children.
As lon as you're buying it yourself who gives a shit what your dad says, just enjoy your vidya user.

I enjoyed the first couple hours of BotW, and Mario was fun. That was over 2 years ago. What the fuck are people doing with that brick now?

>sat in my garden in the sun this morning with a big mug of tea playing The Stick of Truth

The console allowes for maximum comfy and I'm loving it

>There's what, like 2-3 exclusive games worth playing?

About 10 so far actually

The real question is where do people get their switch roms

Attached: ass thinking.gif (300x300, 101.52K)

I can't fucking find switches for less than 500 burgers

Only angsty teenagers and closeted homosexuals think fun cartoony games are only for children. Incidentally those two groups make up the entirety of the ps4 user base.

Yea its alright I'm playing metro 2033 and animal crossing

After the kung flu they'll be back in stock

>this thread again

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say you aren't enjoying your switch

Your dad must be on the money given that his son is a self-conscious bitch that probably can't even hold his own.

>can't even hold his own.

Own what?

His own Wii obviously.

Would be nicer if the hardware wasn't gimped by trying to be both portable and non-portable. It doesn't have the battery life to count as a portable since it's as bad as the old sega handhelds of the 90's while it just looks weird as fuck docked for playing on the TV

>fun cartoony games are only for children
they are, I dont understand how you are even drawn to that shit unless you have the mind of a child

I beat NG+ with Xenoblade2 and got KOS-MOS and my characters to level 99. Going to finish Challenge mod and super bosses soon. All in anticipation for Xenoblade DE

All ages means all ages user.
You say kiddy shit but the fact is the good "kiddy shit" has innuendo and adult jokes mixed in that kids can't notice.

you must be a child.
Three of my co-workers, two of which are married, and over 35 own a Switch and play games on it. You'd be surprised how many normie adults own a switch.

Actually, yeah. Currently playing Splatoon and am getting no where near unlocking league.

>Mario Party only has 4 boards
This is fucking pathetic. The minigames are alright though

How is CFW switch ??
Can i play the upcoming Xenoblade 2 ?

I had to replace the joy con latches because it got damage when my switch fell. even though it was my fault nintento should of gave their joycon metal latches so they won't get ruined so easily.

Is there any hope of a chance in hell the newer versions of the Switch will get hacked soon, or do I just need to bite the bullet and buy one used?

option c get a job and buy your video games

I have 170 hours in Fire Emblem, 186 hours in Xenoblade 2, 130 hours in BotW, and like 12 other games from 20-70 hours on the system. I honestly love the Switch so much. I don't know what it is about it but its just so much easier to hop in and play long game sessions.

Tons of great exclusives but per usual third party support sucks cock.
