If you want to.
I was planning to do that myself, but GS' bankruptcy resulted tons of cheap vidya being handed over, so I just grabbed DS and a couple other titles.

A bit over 150 hours later, I can say that it's easily one of the greatest, most addicting games of the 2010s. Will definitely get it on Steam as well, just to help my PC rookies out the best I can.

>pc version
>high res mads mikkelsen models for SFM and blender

yes
you've waited this long you can hold out two more months
especially since you'll have a bunch of new players playing with you at the same time

Can you imagine paying $60 to ride around delivering packages and pissing on a PS4? Jesus, I've been alright with 30 or below FPS for games before, but I would never do this to myself. I'll definitely be playing it when it comes out on PC for the experience, but this game under 60fps with a controller sounds like torture

yes

It's on sale. Just buy the PS4 version and then buy the PC version on sale if you liked it that much.

Its insanely good. I waited years for this game and it was worth it, yeah wait for the pc version.

Fucking faggot.

I honestly shat bricks a couple times when playing it, seeing how structures got erected and cargo dropped right in front of me.

It's far from a torture.
Lemme make this very clear: USE A GAMEPAD.
Seriously, just do it. I have no idea how they may smoothly implement all the controls on a KB+M, and you will merit from having rumble enabled.
Second, it's mostly a very calm, slower-paced game. 30fps is more than enough. I do still anxiously wait to see this babe running at full 60.

Give me at least one mama erotic image.
In any case i just finished the game this morning so i can't be spoiled anymore. What the hell was all of that? It's like a drunk person trying to tell a straight story.
The game is amazing everytime the plot isn't happening, then it unravels, you're thrown back into the gameplay and it's a great game again. Thankfully this story has the decency to be unobtrusive and minimal so i really recommend the game.

How can anyone hate this game? Its a fucking blast

Attached: DEATH STRANDING™_20200409151057.png (1920x1080, 1.78M)

It's literally just a single, extra-butthurt Spic, review bombing and copypasting his poorly Google-translated insults, over and over again.
The few exception cases have either literally played the game, or got filtered by the trip to Port Knot.

I'm inclined to believe you, but seeing motherfuckers trip over rocks every three seconds in 30 fps makes the game look really clunky and glitchy to me

These porters are my babies i love them so much. Their AI is crazy good too, one time i was sitting at a shelter station watching the rain and suddenly these two guys come running under the umbrella panting like dogs and we all stayed there to wait out the rain.

>but seeing motherfuckers trip over rocks every three seconds
How the fuck would you even manage that?? It's like not knowing how to cross a gap in Super Mario, or not knowing that you need to shoot a demon in Doom to survive; fucking stupid in other words.

You get taught how to hold your balance just 10 seconds into the game: just hold on your backpack's straps, and don't run head first into rough terrain marked with big, red X.

A few hours into the game, you no longer even need to use the terrain scanner any more, but instead just naturally watch a few yards in front of you, and react unconsciously. The later gear makes keeping balance and moving extra nimbly even easier.

>Have to get to Mountain Knot City.
>Spend the next five hours just building roads up to it.
I swear, they got me addicted to pumping ceramics and metal into these things. Chapter 4 was also incredible.

Someone mind explaining something to me though?
Why would Mules and terrorists risk a voidout by killing people? Mules gain assault rifles that hit like a truck unless they're supposed to be the rubber bullets ones, but terrorists literally shoot you for the hell of it. Die-Hardman says they're doing it for the thrill because delivering packages doesn't do it for them anymore, but I don't get it. Even if they're nutcases surely they have to understand they risk their entire area by just murdering everyone next to it, it's not like they seem to throw you to the incinerator.
I also don't get Timefall snow. I mean, I get it, but I don't understand why the Bridges suits don't cover you better because I had this happen just by walking around for five seconds. They're completely paranoid with Timefall rain and rightly so, but with snow they don't seem to give a damn when it's far easier to have land on your face.

Unless you're unable to even pace yourself you will never trip. In 60 hours I've tripped exactly once and that's just because I was rushing and also dropped down onto a steep hill. You literally just hold L2/R2 when you need to walk on yellow or red ground or you have a heavy/high stack. If going down a hill you go slowly. Once you unlock a skeleton it's even more forgiving in how heavy you can go before needing to do that. Plus, after a couple of hours you don't even really use the scanner for terrain outside of water depth and items strewn about.

Attached: DEATH STRANDING_20200406121935.jpg (1920x1080, 610.38K)

It's surprisingly not glitchy even when you goof around complex rock geometries it stays consistent in what you can do and you never just glitch out, fall through the floor or anything like that. We'll see about the PC port though, let's hope they showed the same dedication while bug testing.

>How can anyone hate this game?
Love the gameplay, but I basically hate everything else aside from the characters which I ended up liking more than I thought. The story blows.

Mules use rubber bullets. Terrorists have a scanner that specifily targets you and they know you can repatriate. Sam wont go necro, so he wont cause a voidout unless a BT eats him.

Top kek.
DS' a fucking masterpiece.

What do you think Yas Forums's been doing all week about FF7 Remake? You comment on what you have access to. Are you saying I should buy every game without looking at videos, reviews, screenshots, anything and THEN I can shit on it? kill yourself

>I swear, they got me addicted to pumping ceramics and metal into these things
I hear ya, brother.
I must've spent well over 80 hours in episode 3 alone.

>Why would Mules and terrorists risk a voidout by killing people?
Mules do not. Their equipment's a clear indicator of this.
The terries are a totally different tale though. Just look at their logo; notice the "VOID OUT" text? Yeah, they're out for a kill.

Attached: DEATH STRANDING™_20200308070629.jpg (1920x1080, 256.51K)

That makes a lot more sense. I figured that was the case with the Mules but with the terrorists I wasn't sure.

Good tastes. A bunch of great characters acting in a gaseous web of twists. It's not that bad though it's serviceable and at least it's a directive line to follow albeit this plot structure is more like a broken spine.

>Are you saying I should buy every game without looking at videos, reviews, screenshots, anything and THEN I can shit on it?
No, but I am extremely worried on what kind of Kizuna Ai -tier garbage you've been watching if what you described is your idea of the game.

The game's pretty fuckin' shit, I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you. I drew the short straw and bought it for my group of friends to pass around, but then no one else ever actually wanted to play it so I'm stuck with this on my shelf.
If you want a more honest review, the gameplay is very simple and basic, but gathering materials and building stuff can be autistic fun. The difficulty on every mode is insultingly easy though. The story is dull, uninteresting, and also insultingly straightforward once you get over the cool world. Art and atmosphere are excellent, though.

This game is not good.

I've seen a good amount of gameplay from a few different channels. It hasn't all been tripping and shit. Maybe it's YouTube's resolution shit but the game does not look very good. I'm sure it plays different, but all the same I'll be waiting for the PC release.

>Maybe it's YouTube's resolution shit but the game does not look very good.
Definitely. I know for a fact that YT's compression absolutely butchers any and all grass / vegetation in general, not to mention all the particle effects and other subtle features.
At least on my Pro + cheap 4K LG TV, the game looks magnificent.

Still, I hold no grudge on anyone waiting for the PC port. Just take and my advise, and use a gamepad.

It's garbage day!
I'm playing a god damn dustman constantly cleaning my world of clown colored trucks and bridges over flat terrain, there is no end to it. Sometimes i dismantle another stupid bridge and the same stupid bridge appears in the exact some spot by another player. What the fuck are you niggers doing? Bridges are not archs, safehouses don't belong dead center in BT areas for fucks sake stop parking your vehicles right in the entryway of every damn shelter.
I kept wondering how do these brdges all have 20.000 likes bu then i realized that you receive likes just because a person walks on your bridge so i think motherfuckers place shitty bridges so people will walk on them in order to dismantle them. Your behavior disgusts me. Park your fucking trucks.

The gameplay definitely doesn't look good when viewed from outside. It's genuinely a AAA delivery simulator at its core and people move around slowly. The intro episodes are also incredibly long, take an eternity to give you basic defense tools, you feel like you're controlling a drunk man, and then take even longer to give you the Power Skeleton which alleviates so many issues as soon as you get it so you constantly see people moving at a snail's pace to avoid BTs and Mules. The thing is that if you give it a chance, get to Lake Knot City and at least do some stuff for the Engineer and start exploring you'll see if you actually like the game or not.

The Lake Knot City portion of the game opens up roads to repair which let you get to places quicker, you start gaining things like the Bola Gun for Mules and by that point you're carrying like five sets of Hematic Grenades for BT areas, you start noticing shortcuts to areas (Like that hill that takes you directly to the Elder bypassing any need for ladders or climbing anchors), you've become very comfortable with the controls, and it genuinely becomes fun to deliver things all over the place because you end up wanting to do it efficiently for that sweet sweet Legend of Legends rank. If you told me a month ago I'd invest well over 60 hours into Fedex Simulator (Formerly USPS Simulator) I'd have thought you were kidding.

>so i think motherfuckers place shitty bridges so people will walk on them in order to dismantle them.
You only get a like if you cross the bridge, not just stand on it. I have one like that sitting right outside Waystation North of Mountain Knot City that's completely useless. It's literally covering no terrain that's not flat and it drives me insane. The worst are all the abandoned Long Range bikes which everyone realizes are useless as soon as they build them due to the cargo limitation so you have them all in the middle of the road or collecting by the Cosplayer.

Attached: DEATH STRANDING_20200407215405.jpg (1920x1080, 840.31K)

People ditching their motorcycles in the middle of the road is more than lazy it's downright dangerous.

>carrying hematic grenades
>ever
Why?

Yes, you should. If you are that desperate, pirate the pc version later but that means waiting for the crack.

Is there a better feeling than this?

Attached: DEATH STRANDING™_20200409171728.png (1920x1080, 3.35M)

Wait for Steam or PS+ to give it away for free.

Attached: DEATH STRANDING™_20200227062303.jpg (1920x1080, 183.6K)

Because it's early game? Hell, I still don't have the BT Cutters despite being at Mountain Knot City. They help you deal with having to stealth around BT sections, especially Wind Farm which feels like an eternity and that mountain leading to Port Knot City.

>Is there a better feeling than this?
Yes: coming back from a long trip and finding that the community's finished the road for you.

Attached: DEATH STRANDING™_20200227044801.jpg (1920x1080, 297.26K)

I decided to screw around with them with sticky guns and sleep grenades. Also left a dead MULE in Peter Englert's bunker that they somehow discovered. Now I'm at something like -3000 Likes with other porters.

If you actually get into a BT fight, just call for help with the yell button and the game will dump loads of free ammo on you.

Are you talking when you're in a BT area or when you're fighting the dolphins/sharks? Because why would you ever intentionally want to fight the latter? You risk destroying your cargo getting caught so it's better killing the ones standing around pre-emptively.

I don't really know why you'd get into a fight, since you can just slap them away. On top of being fairly easy to avoid anyway.

fuck off kojima

>lil' RetardEra zoomie still trying to be tuff and hate a famous dev
Cute!

Attached: DEATH STRANDING™_20200226212735.jpg (1920x1080, 170.8K)

because kojima thinks complicated = deep
MGS is the same way, he's a hack and always has been, kids were just too stupid to realize this back when MGS was his main series

>On top of being fairly easy to avoid
Not when you're in a bike/truck and they're just nuisances when you're actually trying to get anything done. I'd rather shoot them or throw grenades so I can actually explore without worry that the black goo is going to absorb me if I make a mistake and cause all my crap to drop, and clearing BTs rids them for like an entire in-game day. Yeah, you can avoid a lot of the encounters (Like the Weather Station for example) just by driving a bit further past them, but in the tutorial area you really can't with Wind Farm and the mountain, and in the main area you have areas like the crater north of the Craftsman where they're simply obnoxious when you need to get items out of there.

we get it, you bought the game, sunk too much time into it, realized it's shit but dont want to admit buyers remorse.
kojima is a hack, MGS was never good and you cant get his cum out of your throat.

You should just watch a movie instead OP.
I don't get why people would want to play such game. It has no gameplay at all.

I bet we could compare bridges and discover that we all have the same shitty bridges in the same spots. I swear to god sometimes there's like 3 of them just stacked on each other.
Let's have some fun shall we?
-the safe house west of the BT/Terrorist valley near the tar belt
-the bridge over nothing just down of the spiritualist
-film director has two bridges, a good one in front of his shelter and another facing north landing straight into the rocks
-the bridge laying on the ground near the two building at the BT zone south of Heartman's, there's fucking two of them
-bridge on the beach of the south knot crater
-the perpetual safehouse right in front of the geologist
-thet bridge right next to the arch on the way to lake knot (that one's cool)
-that bridge on the path to the waystation north of mountain knot that makes you crash into the slope

>b..but muh kojima!
they're the kids who played MGS and didnt realize it's an over complicated shit heap, so now kojima is their god of video games

Protip: After you make your first safe house in the tutorial area, delete it. You get the network capacity back, and you're pretty much guaranteed to get an online safe house in the exact same spot.

No, I bought the game, played it for 200 hours, and will be buying it AGAIN in 6 weeks when it arrives on PC.
MGS was always great, I try my best to replay at least one of them annually, and (You) just mad that your ADHD stops you from enjoying such masterpieces, not to mention making such games yourself.

Going for the Legendary rank pays off, especially with preppers.
Always check the Shared Locker for next-gen loot.

>the safe house west of the BT/Terrorist valley near the tar belt
Yep, I have one that actually requires you to go into the hills just to take it over a bunch of slight bumps.
>and another facing north landing straight into the rocks
Have the exact same ones. I still can't fathom why that one on the right exists (If facing his area). Do you also have the ladder right behind his shelter that leads you to a postbox that's completely pointless because you can just store stuff at the Film Director without worry of your postbox deteriorating?
>bridge on the beach of the south knot crater
Is this the one near the tar pit if you take a right from South Knot City? Because that one actually sort of avoids BTs to the left of it so it's good.
>thet bridge right next to the arch on the way to lake knot (that one's cool)
I don't think I had this one but I had a guy attempting to build a bridge from a rocky area onto the road for some odd reason around there. It would never be an area you reach outside of the most early portion of the game when you're on foot and exploring.
>that makes you crash into the slope
That one's actually really really good because it helps you avoid having to go all the way around to the huge bump that you take on your way down, but it's only useful if coming from or going to Distribution Center North of Mountain Knot City.

I've only just reached MKC so I don't have the Geologist or Spiritualist so I can't comment on those, and I did a suicide run to Heartman's lab so I never had Chiral coverage there to see anything.

Keep on keeping on!
