It really was a fucking goldmine.
Somebody post some of the Sarah Ryder autism pics. Good shit.

They believed their own hype. And when that failed, they wrote it off as the failure of a branch office, and continued believing their own hype for Anthem.

I remember when ME1 came out and all the hype around it. And then ME2 was even MORE hyped up, even though it was a give and take on good improvements and kind of stupid changes. Then 3 was a dumpster fire that got followed up by this steaming turd. Never seen a series come and go so quickly from hottest thing on the market to literally DED GAEM

>fire veteran staff
>let suits dictate the "Brand" when it only existed because of passionate white guys
>hire interns from tumblr
>fuck around with an engine not meant for a space third person rpg and procedural generation for 4 years until you give up and make the interns pump the game out on one year
>cash in first week sales and pre orders
>make tax write off
>axe studio
>squat on IP
>repeat

It was more depressing to me than anything else, and I stopped caring. The ME3 shitposting was great though, the growing compilations of all the amateur hour technical flaws and mistakes
