The majority of people log in, do their roulettes, chat with friends for a while, occasionally dip their toes into an EX Primal,, and log out. Both raiders and ETPers are the ends of the horseshoe.

I can't even recall what the starting 40 levels' worth of quests were, to be honest. It was some meaningless daze of killing uninteresting monster tribe summons which were only cool because they were the summons from the older games, and a plot and worldbuilding that looked like it belonged straight out of a bad WRPG. The best thing I can compare it to, is to the dullest aspects of Pillars of Eternity, worldbuilding-wise. Only when you reach Coerthas and Garuda does it starts getting interesting, and the expansions that come after are all a dramtic jump in quality as far as areas and quest clutter and narrative goes.

It's probably going to be Cid,. Gaius is branded a traitor and was framed for the murder of Varis, so he's probably out, whereas Cid is still seen as a hero by most of the civilian Garlean populace.
