Cucks

>hurr durr the witcher only has white characters because muh historical accuracy
>also women show cleavage in the medieval age
Fuck these racists.

god im sick of you fucking retards race baiting every fucking thread. unironically kill yourselves

Actually the Witcher 3 has 2 Ofieri (Arab) characters.
A mage who briefly captures Geralt and a rune-smith that can forge him special weapons.

People who like when established characters get the happy ending they always wanted instead of a stealth bad end because the player wanted to self insert

Yen's ending seriously blows Triss's out of the water and they actually act like friends in the game and have a ton of great scenes as opposed to Triss being a bit character with awful quests.

>the witcher only has white characters because of historical accuracy
>also women show cleavage in the medieval age
Yes. It makes perfect sense.

>2 Ofieri (Arab) characters.
They put these characters just to deflect the criticism, it was pretty obvious. Too little too late.

what about the fact Triss is the romance for the Witcher 1 and 2?
That's why I romanced her on my first playthrough. It felt odd that after 2 games of being with her I'd suddenly switch to Yen. Yeah I know the whole book-geralt and amnesia thing but it still felt like a romance that I was already balls-deep into.

Why are americans so obsessed with race?

fuck niggers and arabs they are not even humans

Witcher mostly has whites because it was made by Poles. If you want representation, make your own games. Third world Poland did it, it can't be all that difficult. I can't think of a single black developer.

I read the books and Triss is a bad person.

I didn't read the books before 1 and 2 but I had a different experience. In 1 you get prefaced with this side bar where they tell you Geralt had another girl that he was in love with but Triss tells you no forget about her she was bad not like me and I was immediately suspicious of her, and went with Shani in that game. I hated her scenes in 2 and once again they doubled down on Geralt has a girl he already likes and you need to go find her. Then after getting the story of the books it just came full circle that Triss was actually a huge bitch who stabs all her friends in the back intentionally.

Yenn having really great scenes with Geralt in 3 while Triss gets treated like a secondary was the icing on the cake.

Poles sell their games all over the world, so it's fair to ask why they refuse to put non-whites in their games. Their racist explanation makes no sense.

stop false larping you nigger

I read the first two books and Yennefer is the biggest cunt I have ever come across in literature.

Azar Javed was a Zerrikanian (Arab) in the very first game and a major character

This, are these "book" retards just larpers or read different books?

this

Yen is a toxic selfish cunt

so is Triss though, but at least game-Triss has the decency to realise it by the time the third game comes around

Single Geralt master race reporting in

They're just making a game according to their artistic vision, based on the works of one polish author.
If your xenophobia doesn't let you identify with a polish cast you don't have to buy their games.

Daniel Vavra is a dick, but at least his explanation makes more sense because his game is somewhat historical. The Witcher is far from historical.

Okay, fair enough, didn't play the first one.

Yenn goes through something called character development and becomes a better person by the end, and indeed that carries over into the game version in 3.

Unlike Triss who literally comes into the game backstabbing her best friend (again) and continues to be a greater good fag all the way to the end of 3 where she continues to involve herself in lodge politics in her ending

Because she looks like Ronald McDonald. I like gingers but her hair texture and colour in the game are hideous

Why would anyone scorn Shani for those egocentric maniacs?

Attached: shani.png (772x542, 493.42K)

witcher 1 also has one
he's one of the 3 main bad guys

>80 year old Geralt fucks 17 year old Shani
how is the Netflix show going to deal with this?

Other than turn Shani black, of course.

>Yenn goes through something called character development and becomes a better person by the end
lol

Character development is the worst narrative meme out there.

Because the absolute peak cutie exists.

Oh, I'd move an inch towards her alright. Four and a half of them, in fact.

I didn't choose either, none of them was Shani aka best girl.

Sand people were always a thing in the books, they just don't interact with the northern kingdoms much

Muh canon.

Do nudity mods have titty physics yet?

>older man fucking a 17 year old
It'll be ok in their minds if they turn Geralt black or at least make him islamic for 1 episode

I chose Triss because I romanced her in the past two games but it's clear that the game intended for you to romance Yen. Most other characters in the game seem to ignore the fact that you ditched Yen during their dialogue.

This.

>The Witcher is far from historical
It's not. It's very close to historical. It is a lot like lord of the rings in the way where it is strongly intertwined with a specific European heritage as myth and fable rather than a brand new fantasy world.

How's the show? Worth watching? Vidya adaptation is kind of a red flag, but i'm very bored rn.
I don't mind black Shani if they're truthful to the character.
oh grow up

How big a simp do you have to be to discourage characters having arcs in their story?

They tried adapting the books but most of it ended up being Yennefer fan fiction

>Went for Triss in 1
>Went for Triss in 2, even murdering a whole camp to save her
>Suddenly I'm with Yen in 3 despite importing my savefiles
Thanks, I hate it.

>How's the show?
The Geralt parts are okay, the rest is bad.
Like really bad.

She's going to get a sunburn with that complexion!

Not to mention, most people who never even read the books only know of Triss from the other two games. Why would you not pick the cuter woman with bigger tits and spent more time with?

>Implying moors were black
>Implying there were moors in bohemia
Why are Americans so stupid?

she is his daughter dammit :c

>>also women show cleavage in the medieval age
This is historically accurate though. The reason you hear so much certain celrgy folk making such a deal about it, is because the women actually did it.

Geralt and Jaskier/Dandelion are great
Nearly everything else about the show is bad
They completely fucking ruined Renfri's story which is absolutely fucking unforgivable considering how important it is

The show isn't great but it has the feel of cheesy fantasy show from the 90s that has utterly disappeared from modern TV and if you already like the Witcher cast it's still fun.

They're Americans

Attached: geralt and dandelion.jpg (788x1024, 127.14K)

American blacks have so little history that several authors and historians decided to pretend that egyptians and moors were black just to give them something out of pity, and it got out of hand.

how meme is slugger on sns?

It's not just Americans

Indeed, Europeans seem to have it even worse

Attached: historical accuracy.webm (1280x720, 2.89M)

>simp
seriously?

TVtropes is the worst thing to happen to narration. Now everyone wants in on the process, analyze things and feel clever.

In any great work of fiction characters ARE themselves, and that self is unveiled by the experiences they go through. They do not change, they do not 'develop' they become more like themselves as time go by.

Wrong thread, also make your own damn build, faggot.

Swathes of the show is just plane made up or radically altered from the books, like Yen beating all the Crimson Reavers single handed with a sword.

Geralt & Jaskier/Dandelion parts are worth watching just for that Hercules TV Show / Sinbad feel.

It's cheesy and I love it.

user from yesterday here. Not picking gourmet solved the problem with difficulty. Now it's great. Thanks.

>Why are Americans so stupid?
Do you really have to ask?

it may not be historic game but it is still based on Slavic folklore and trust me we do not have niggers here

Feels good to be russian

>Americans
how naive

My favourite is Margaret of Anjou, who was famous for being extremely pale - even considering how pale the nobility usually were

>They completely fucking ruined Renfri's story which is absolutely fucking unforgivable considering how important it is
How bad is it?

What is up with bongs wanting to rewrite their history this badly?

Ok that actually sounds quite compelling.
I'll give it a try.

>characters don't change in a story that spans decades

>that chainmail clad black knight drawing his sword

AY YO THO DAWN DAT PUSS AY

With all do respect, yes you can have a character who gradually you get to know, but to say that a character who grows into the their true self because of the story they go through doesn't belong in great fiction because you were offended by TVtropes shows an astoundingly limited view.

I don't choose anyone, for me, it's the Witchers path.

Attached: 1585057872909.jpg (2034x2048, 217.88K)

She's not bad. She's a dramatic side character with a crush on MC and a redemption arc at the end. The whole love triangle is kinda dumb in witcher 3, because books are basically cringy romantic novels about Geralt and Yenn with some sword fights and court intrigues. There's no way Geralt would choose Triss.

What does BBC stand for again?

>Third world Poland
I giggled

Almost everything important is missing from it.
Basically what happens in the show:
>Stregobor says "kill renfri pls"
>Geralt says no
>Renfri says "kill stregobor pls"
>Geralt says no
>Renfri and Geralt bang
>Geralt magically knows Renfri will be at the market, somehow
>Geralt kills all of Renfri's gang
>Renfri and Geralt fight
>Geralt tries to use Axii on Renfri to calm her down
>It doesn't work, obviously, and Geralt kills Renfri
>Stregobor incites the crowd to attack Geralt
>retards online say that Axii not working proves the black sun curse is real, since they don't know how Axii works on humans

Guinevere is a good cast, and I don't see why there wouldn't be black centurions in the Roman army. They were NCOs, and conscription among the conquered populace was the roman MO.

Yen has a character arc in book 3. But my Geralt just bangs everything that moves and ended up with Ciri at his manor.

British Betraying their Culture

how does axii work on humans?

What the fuck.
Let me guess, it was one episode? For what's one of the most important events in the entire series? Fantastic.

It only works on simps

Because she isn't the steven Carson version

Romans never ruled over black people

>Guinevere is a good cast
This.

ive done the research, ive looked at the facts, ive analyzed the hard data and my conclusion is that youre a fagit

Yes, it was one episode.

In many cases, it doesn't.
If they're strong willed/minded it doesn't work as well. If they know that it exists and what it does, it doesn't work as well.

It's useful on beasts and monsters, but it's not great with humans that can think

>whore who can't stay faithful
>good casting when she's black
you fucking racist scumbags

I wanted to stick true to the books.

However, having since come to see that sapkowski is a bit of a plagiarizing hack himself, with nothing but disdain for gamers, I don't think I'll try so hard next to to stay so closely to his vision.

the taboo is what makes it hot

Attached: 1584104419971.jpg (480x360, 60.3K)

this entire post is everything wrong with the autistic mindset

I must have expressed myself badly.
Good fiction thinks of characters as people, bad fiction think of them as assets.
Growing into your true self is the way of good fiction.
Experiencing 'character development' is the way of bad fiction.
People using these neologisms are usually trained analysts or armchair critics (this trend got much worse with tvtropes).
Professionalisation of the artistic professions is the reason why everything is shit these days.

It's obvious that i'm a old fart, bad faith, and exaggerating, but the core of what I'm saying is true.

Where the fuck do you people even come from? Why are you on this site?

I didn't choose anyone and got the Ciri ending without even having to try. That said, Ciri was more of a brat than I thought she'd be.
