And don't try to deny it that you had to play with those kinds of settings as well. Its like i am back at 2006 when oblivion didn't ran on my PC well.

I don't have to play with those graphics settings. My PC isn't complete shit
My PC runs the game fine but it overheats after a couple hours. Most games released in the last 15 years do that, though. Waiting for winter so things will be nice and cold and I can play the more modern games all day.
>being a graphicsfag
kill yourself. Call me when oblivion can have a battle with 400 npcs on horseback
>muh grafics
I play maxed out. Goes as low as 45FPS in sieges, 60 FPS at all other times.
If you're not a graphicsfag you wouldn't even be playing this game at all. There's currently no other reason to play it over Warband.
You're full of shit game is already better than warband
Nah.
i play with everything of very high. problem poor boy?
>that single comment
Good job replying to a comment bot, faggot.
get a better computer you fucking peasant.
no, its not better than Warband atm
>the skills system is broken, most skills don't do anything
>many of the perks are bugged
>the balance is almost completely fucked and most campaigns end in a snowball
>no companion system
>almost no variety in events or quests
>economy is fucked up and bugged too
It's much worse than Warband atm, besides the graphics and combat.
Bruh, this is some literally who guy with like 50 subscribers and shit pc, lmao
Cope also who gives a fuck about warband shitty companion system, I barely read what they said and skipped that shit, does anyone even care about them
That game just looks like a worse Warband. People waited ten years for this? LOL
if your computer is shit tbw, no amount of optimization is gonna fix this. I have a six core ryzen cpu and a 1070, game runs great.
It actually looks fine, has early 2kteens graphics but at least runs fine, decent physics, destruction ect.. Also feels a lot smoother than Warband.
They need to fix a whole bunch of little issues and fucking hope add new features like sea battles and naval siege because campaign is literally just Warband with better UI.
Hes baiting
The patches actually fixed snowballing.
Companions in warband weren't really good characters or anything, just functions, snowballing is fixed, and warband had less quest.... also most skills work fine and economy is not a bad after patches
Aslo warband had no special events at all wtf
I'm playing on maxed graphics at 5120x1440 and 75fps though.
>My PC runs the game fine but it overheats after a couple hours. Most games released in the last 15 years do that, though.
Sounds like you have a heat-management problem, honestly. Either poor air circulation, faulty heat-sink or some other similar hardware issue. You should look into it, it can be often resolved fairly easily.
Do you know which parts in particular are overheating? If it's GPU, it may be harder to solve, because it may be likely a a faulty cooler, which is usually integrated. It still can be improved if you remove the dust buildup, check if your box fans are working properly, make sure there is enough space for the air to flow (tying down loose cables, moving parts to create more space etc...).
If it is the processor, you can try re-applying the termal paste, or straight up replacing the whole fan on top of that, that usually does the trick.
>The patches actually fixed snowballing.
Aleviated it at best. The issue is still present, it just isn't nearly as prominent as it used to be. It won't get fully fixed for a couple more weeks or even months though, as it requires implementation of the whole global strategic A.I. modules that are still far from ready.
Source?
I can't name one person who plays Mount and Blade for its graphics
Well, the patch notes will give you a good insight of what was really done about the snowballing.
There was a statement made by the TW about the A.I. implementations, but I can't find it right now. It was just a few lines, basically saying that the global strategy A.I. will come in months (not an easy fix).
Still, they have improved the situation a lot, and there are mods out there that further improve on it. From experience, I can recommend starting a new game on a 05 patch or later, because any older saves will usually have the snowball rolling (even after few months) and there is nothing in the game yet that can stop it if it reaches certain momentum.
A post 05 game saves should be fine, and you should not feel pressed for time anymore. The snowballing will still happen eventually, but in horizons of several years or even decades on average, at least based on some tests my friends were running on 06 and 07 patches.
This.
In my opinion, every single minute the spent improving graphics was a waste of time.
I'd rather 1000 men battles with Warband graphichs than having to build skynet to do that in Bannerlord.
The system requirements aren't even that high. A current mid range PC is more than enough for 1080p60fps with maxed graphics.
Huge range of graphical option is good, faggot
Fuck all the new AAA games that pushes out their fucking ugly filters
Not with 1000 troops at the same time and i wouldn't say my system is weak
>w-w-we didn't care about graphics anyway
hahaha lmaoing at m&bfags
but that's exactly what they've been trying to do... Bannerlord looks nothing spectacular, but what they've been trying to build and took them so long is an engine that would scale well on multicore cpus and take full advantage of modern technologies. I'm not convinced they achieved that either, the game doesn't seem to scale particularly well and there is still a ceiling to how many troops you can get in one scene even cheating and that's not a whole lot more than Warband, 2000 entities, and cavalry counts for two.
Bro how shit does you PC need to be to run at this low quality? I have a medium rig from 2015 that runs everything on high at 60fps since Bannerlord's battles (except for sieges) are optimized as fuck.
>A current mid range PC is more than enough for 1080p60fps with maxed graphics.
Yeah, maybe for 50 vs 50 fight.
Everyone claiming they can max out the game at 60fps with mid range computers has not done a single siege.
Even on open field 300 vs 400 my rtx 2070 super and 8700k can't do 60fps most of the time. They are all full of shit.
kill yourself
You *swing* did marry *swing* a cute steppe waifu, *swing* right user?
I married Monchug's daughter. She is hardly cute, but she is damn useful.
I find it a bit annoying that despite being with them almost from the start of the game, and helping out constantly, I am the only vassal with only one fief, when the rest of them have 4-5 at the absolute minimum. But it does make me feel happy that thanks to my competent wife, that single fief makes me more money than their 4 combined.

Can I run this game?
r8 Banner
I play on my fucking laptop and I put everything to the maximum with 30 to 60 fps in battle
Yes you can at medium settings and maybe 600-800 troops if you want high FPS
yea
only thing that really matters is ram, if you've got 16gb+ you should be fine but 8gb needs ssd + page file fuckery and even then its kinda fucky
t. 2011 i3 and 750ti gamer
They all look like they have birth defects. Except for Mesu, but she's 50 or something.
I dont really care about graphics, but the new animations are a huge deal for me.
In a good or bad way?
I have 8GB myself and was unable to play at all until 1.0.8. Now I can play alright as long as I restart the game after loading a lot of scenes, which isnt that frequently in early game, but would be impossible later on when you go from battle to battle constantly.
i7 8700 (3.20 GHz)
16 gb ram
RTX 2600
game runnign from SSD
Not sure if that places me in mid-range or upper-mid range hardware bracket, but the game runs pretty smoothly around 60 FPS on high/ultra settings at 1080p with battle size cranked all the way up to 1000+
Dips at times, especially during sieges, but that is known to be a bug in the pathfinding rather than anything else.
As far as I'm concerned, it's actually pretty well optimized. I can expect to lower the settings all the way down to medium once the mods unlocking even higher unit counts are out, but frankly I don't mind, as long as the A.I. works and does not fuck up.
I think they are great and make battles look and feel much more fluid and natural.
>500 unit battles
I had it higher than that in Warband with the battle size mod and never had issues, will it be higher when the game is actually released?
there are misconceptions about how heavy this engine is. Its been almost universally claimed that you need some kind of high end modern CPU and GPU, when actually people with toasters are playing just fine as long as they have enough RAM
The game takes over 8gb just to start up, yu really need more ram
blew out the dust for Bannerlord but at your suggestion to check I only just noticed some glowing text that said "fan stop". The underside fan had stopped moving.
Well, I guess there's my problem.
Flicked it, the fan started moving, the "fan stop" light went out, we'll see how it goes.
Thanks.
That works reasonably well depending on the map. I can maintain FPS in the 50s up to ~350v350 in open fields. Forests start shitting themselves earlier, towns and sieges much earlier. 500v500 "works" but I end up running it at 24-30 FPS depending on the settings used.
The setting in the menu goes up to 1000 I think
Yeah, do some benchmarking and take a note of which part heats up first, that should help you narrowing down the problem if it remains. ยจ
As a general rule of thumb, your hardware should not overheat regardless of the load. When over-loaded, you should experience peformance loss, but not over-heating: if your system is overheating, it suggest there is some kind of more mechanical issue at play. Often surprisingly easy to solve at best.
I once discovered my computer is overheating, only to discover that a lose tiny little cable got stuck in a fan, causing it to temporary jam, but not permanently as the cable periodically lossed itself and then got stuck again.
>rtx 2070
>ryzen 5 3600
can play it at good graphics at 80-100 fps, and my setup isn't even really high end
What's a good cleaving 2h for big damage?
Pretty cool, but it's out of the game's timeframe
