yeah ur crosshair only shows u how to shoot straight, its a part of the game mechanics.

this is after quite a bit of sustained fire so basically laser beam, and the tracer is seemingly going above the crosshair

Why does the recoil feel so much better in 1.6? I can land shots easily in 1.6 but I miss every shot and get clapped in GO.

Just went back and checked. Same shit happened in source but 1.6 at least moved the crosshair up to follow your bullets.

I never played CS:GO out of beta, but for some reason I can't control my spray as well as I could in CS:S and 1.6.

View punch is coded so that recoil compensation requires memory and not just moving the crosshair by sight.
Recoil in 1.6 being random makes things less consistent past a certain skill level. But overall the systems are too different and if you play them the same you will obviously find one of them to be less reliable

Use a phone headset. Great quality if you get some good ones and pretty okay mic. I only use that to communicate so i can blast my ears out while playing without disturbing a neighbor.

Spray patterns being memorizable is probably the dumbest thing about the game. It turns the filter of good player from team mechanics to being able to shoot properly.

I can barely play this game because as much as I would like to get into the strategy of it, literally every plan I'm a part of fails because when the enemy shows up I can't shoot them.

you don't have to spray. in fact, you shouldn't be spraying the majority of the time when you're using the main meta weapons.
why must you spray all the time? you weren't supposed to wildly spray your AK in 1.6 or source. why not just not spray and either tap (while standing still) or spray in short bursts like it says during some of the loading screens? this is a "you" problem

CS-hate has always been around on Yas Forums, but something really kicked it up a notch, didn't it? it's because this gen was the gen where a lot of normalfags and casuals got into video games through the nerd trend. they tried CS, got their shit pushed it (mostly by their own incompetence), so they must label it as a bad game and try to prevent others from playing it. actually, the latter part of my post has been the same from then and now

This has been the case for all th games like this. They enjoy larping as Quakefags or Starcraftfags while they don't even play the game (granted, I haven't seen hate threads for AoE2, besides the Black Forest fags). Some of them don't even play these games but join the threads for the sake of saying their opinions.
