I strongly disagree with both, DS2 gives you the most control over your character than any other souls game, just takes getting used to cause the engine isn't the same as the other games. Also why can I play SOTFS at 60fps on my 2011 laptop but DS1 and 3 are poorly optimized?

ds3 has weapon arts, powerstancing is a meme, and being able to do one or two more niche builds isn't the same thing as control over your character. Ds2 objectively gives you poor control over your character. Deadzones, inability to rotate between attacks, etc.

The FP system is good but magic was nerfed into the ground because of it, so it kinda isn't.

Buffs are still the same but for PVP you don't need a giant FP bar to use them. Magic/Hex shoots are easy to dodge, take no fucking damage. I unironically prefer the lightning arrows because they're fast as fuck and lightning tracks your ass.
