What are some puzzel games? real brain turners
7. It's the only orientation not listed.
Myst is a classic
Antichamber
nor is 1
1 is the answer
Baba is You is the most interesting puzzle game I've played in a while, highly recommend it.
Actually yeah, 1 makes more logical sense.
Anything by Zachtronics. They're challenging and you might end up learning something about programming or computers.
why
First it's the only shape that's represented twice in the entire set. Second there are different ways the shape is facing. Green is "front" facing. Pink is "right" face. Purple is "ground" face.
Wtf is the pattern here? How are you supposed to find it given only 3 entries?
>2 red 1 yellow 1 black
>1 r 1y 1 b
>flip the image
What is the pattern. I'd just select IDK or come back.
it's 1
7 is the same shape as 1, and it's also facing towards the "ground".
Three red. If 2 and 3 were both 1, then there would be 6 red in total. Now there is only 4 red. If you pick the one with three red faces, then you get 7 red, meaning the next one will also be one with three red giving ten red for five pieces. I am a high functioning autist.
It's rotated from a different point. 7 is a side "fall" whereas 1 is a forward "fall."
I can't even parse what your logic is. Why is it relevant how many red there would be if 2 and 3 were 1? And why must the fourth be three red if you pick three red for the third?
What about yellow?
Yellow is irrelevant. You have one yellow per three reds. You have three yellows for four reds. You already have far too much yellow. Hence, the answer can not contain any more yellow.
The first picture shows what is expected. The second and third are "faulty". Your pick must result in a complete series.
*one yellow per two reds
This. Some will ignore it because it had some Yas Forums threads for a few months. One of the best games of that year, not just puzzle.
1.
There are three patterns in the grid. The one with the cross shape is the only one not repeated a third time. Of the other two patterns each has one duplicate flipped forward and one rotated 90 degrees counterclockwise. The cross pattern is missing its forward flipped counterpart.
Answer is top left
it's the only other combined shape you'll get by combining the 2 shapes that make up the first combined shape
everyone else who tried to answer is too stupid to understand this
God I'm glad I'm not a retard like you. It's the top center. You're completely ignoring the colors.
DUH NUH
>You're completely ignoring the colors.
LOL retard talking
you're the one ignoring the colors
all the yellow sides are parallelograms, not triangles
STFU bitch
Yeah and? Rhombuses don't just automatically turn into trapezoids
>Yeah and?
LOL
NOW you realize you're wrong and want me to explain
hahaha
stupid bitch kys
Not an argument.
Reminder that IQ measures only pattern recognition and is in no way an accurate measure of overall intellect.
I don't care
I still got the right answer, but your retarded ass didn't
next time don't mouth off if you're so stupid you can't even realize you made such an elementary mistake when picking an answer
hahahaha
after you take your foot out of your mouth, enjoy the rest of your retarded life, bitch-ass idiot nigger
bye, stupid
>i can't explain it but I'm right
Every time. You better not check back in this thread like the runaway bitch you are.
Reminder that pattern recognition is the base upon which human intelligence is built and all attempts to dissuade you from stereotyping are attempts to train you not to think.
Pfff, heh.
Logic would increase the accuracy of your pattern recognition though. It's the difference between knowing what would likely happen and why something is happening.
Are there any games that are basically just these kinds of IQ test things? I am not very good at them but I enjoy doing them.
Layton but the puzzles are bullshit.
Top-left.
The two right images in that window are that left cube cut in half.
If you attach those two halves along the black side, you'll get the upper-left answer as a result.
But if that's the right answer, it's kind of misleading to call it a "sequence".
It's amazing. It has a super original premise executed well with tons of challenging, well designed content.
I'm sure some dumbass on Yas Forums will come up with some retarded reason to shit on it.
The Witness
it's line puzzles out the ass where you have to figure out the rules for each series
Order in which these shapes appear is:
A B C
B C B
A A _
What the fuck, is this one of those troll images.
>What the fuck, is this one of those troll images.
uh oh
answer is here
>there isn't an actual order, you just need an even amount of them
I hate IQ tests
It's just a pattern. It did say "next" which is kinda deceiving.
Yeah "next" makes most people think of a sequence. Asking for the missing entry would have been better.
Right? I was thinking a mirrored image of the farthest left block but that was a dud. Feel like three is not enough to tell
I guess I just need to be high IQ and think outside the box.
Most early easy IQ test questions focus on ABC patterns so I did the same here, stuff like that or when they introduce junk data is what really gets me.
You just need to practice.
Game makes you feel dumb as shit for not getting the solution sooner. Amazing piece of art.
You probably didn't spend too much time on it. It look me a while to figure out the answer too since it said next.
>tfw you remember this is akin to legit IQ tests and anons are really puzzled about the correct solution
You can learn to identify patterns. The second puzzle hasn't been fully solved though.
>first one has been solved
Like the different answers showed it, yeah. Just face it, Yas Forumsirgins are brainlets.
Just grab any ol' Nonogram and have some fun. The ones on DS by Nintendo were pretty top-tier and comfy, including that 3d one which I have slight qualms about at times.
it's 1
there are 3 unique shapes, 2 have an "up", "right", and "forward" copy in the collection, except for the last one, which would be completed by having 1.
I know you are.
Agreed, each of the 3 block groups in the grid have 3 specific orientations, answer 1 completes the set of orientations for its block group.
I was doing something similar. eliminated all the duplicates. and started to mark the rotations. if the top row is facing forwards the left column is all rotated down and the rest goes to the right then the answer would be the cross rotated right. but that isn't one of the listed answers. I gotta choose either down or down right. but what I didn't consider was the rule of three you're using. if that is the case then rotated down is the answer. #1 same as yours. would also fit the pattern to eliminate #7 just because none of them on the board have more than a 90 degree rotation difference from the top row.
IQ tests are dumb bullshit
next you're gonna quote einstein, brainlets love to quote that jew
They are! But it is an easy way to get a number attached to oneself and a number is very easy to compare to other numbers.
I guess I don't have autism after all.
Also, Echochrome.
