Canonically, the cult is gone. Bringing the cult back is fine, but something besides the same rehash over and over is necessary. No one wants another reboot either.
I'm actually okay with then just doubling down in the SH2 story of a that punishes an individual. Both Homecoming and Downpour had dinner good momentum in the beginning, but the writing was just so weak by the middle and end.
Personally I'd like to see more stuff about Valtiel, he was really cool in 3 and I love the idea of an angel that shows up to alter reality
I had an idea of the town calling the player for help with a character like Walter taking the power of the town and you're helping valtiel take the power of the town back before it spreads
