lol. I got doom eternal, beat it, and stopped playing in basically one week. I'll replay it again because I really enjoyed it, but like lol, most games only have a limited about of hours of entertainment before it gets repetitive and boring. It is why you don't watch the same movie over and over again back to back. It is why you wait a while before you reread your favorite book. By your logic, no game is worth it unless you aren't paying for it. Like even games that are 100 hours long can't live up to your standards because I'll beat them in a few weeks. With Shadowlands I'll have 6-8 hours of near-daily play for a month before I move on. It is hard to get much better than that.

It's really gonna come down to whether or not the covenant-based abilities are going to stay in the game come expansion launch. Blizzard has shown time and time again they'd rather double down on a mistake rather than admit they're wrong. If they end up keeping them in without making them easy to swap then it'll show they've learned nothing over the years and the expansion is going to be shit.

You can be a retard all you want. Controlling casts, pulling shit out of affixes and dealing with trash in high numbers is not as easy as a cleave rotation.
