With the newest patch, there are about 5 to 7 times as many caravans around. The mainways are stacked with them in scores. Happy hunting for any raider for sure - utterly damaging to any trader build though..

Steam reviews are Very Positive. It's a game that's not finished yet and people don't seem to fucking realize that. People don't remember that the original Mount and Blade was early access released as well for about 2 years. Even after it was released it was still being patched and content added until it was repackaged as Warband.

Sturgia is definitely hard mode. Even if you manage to scrape some gains against one faction, Raganvad declares on two more on the other side of the map so they can rape you from both ends.

It's an Early Access game, only buy if you're willing to handle the fact you'll play a buggy mess for a while. Once the bright side, compared to other scams, the devs are currently throwing patches daily (mixed bag, a lot of fixes that are great, and some dubious balancing) and we're waiting on a bigger patch.
It mostly improved over Warband, but if you've never played it, don't buy this one, you'll have a bad experience of what Mount & Blade is.

They are really struggling with the whole a faction loses a huge battle and never rebounds problem. Seems like they are trying to fix it by shoveling them money and mercs.

Last i checked it was still rated very positive. Doesn't sound mixed to me.

I haven't had this problem, but maybe that's just because my faction is the one losing all the major battles and I have to personally fix it every time.

Man, the AI still have a really hard time to recover, I just caught some lord stealing pretty much every single recruits he could find, the entire northern region of the Vlandian territory is empty of recruits, and the garrisons of many castles are missing, what the fuck is going on?

Look at the Attacker team composition, it's mostly low-tier and middle-tier units, there's like a shitload of Aserai recruits in there.

No shit. You look for the worst in things, and you'll typically find the worst things. 86% of the reviews are positive, so it's pretty well received for what it is. A game that is still in development which is missing a good chunk of it's single player content. If you don't want to play a game that's still in development, come back in a year and try again.

Still seems very difficult even with good units, maybe the game plays differently with higher troop count battles depending on your settings, I only use 500 as my pc is shit.

Maybe I have low standards but I'm pretty happy that I can keep 40 fps or so when there's 1,000 units on screen with a 3600 and a 1060 with settings on high. That's a lot of fucking units.

deck out your companions in the top tier gear that costs hundreds of thousands per pop.

We all just have to be patient and keep in mind we have a years worth of balance changes, updates & new features that will extend every stage of the game, as well as expanding pretty much much every feature that already exists. As time goes on you'll have more use for your money.

Hows it run so far on a 1050? Memetube dude has it running pretty solid in med settings. Drops down to around 44 on mid-high

You can't marry her, there 2 in game flags which stop you. #1 you can't marry faction leaders. #2 You can't marry anyone over 35. That last one is a real flag they added. You have to remove both of those restrictions in the xmls to be able to marry Rhagaea, but doing so will break a few things.

Honestly, once you get the perk that lets you turn three wood into two charcoal, it's not so bad, especially with how many weapons become hardwood. My problem with smelting is the fucking stamina limit.

Use companions as smelting mules.

Got a good 20 hours from the campaign. I've done everything you can do multiple times over and it simply isn't fun anymore. Gonna wait until they port over the Full Invasion mod before I play this again.

I just means you like the game. You can look past the rough parts of it and still really have a good time. I'm the same way.

I can barely maintain 30 and I'm still having fun.
