Let's be real
You never touch these
Let's be real
You never touch these
they barely have any fucking games. i'll never understand why they don't just make retro games a subscription service like netflix, it's been 30 years and companies are still milking their 2 hour long video games
you're correct, I have not
You're right, I don't. At least PS+ gives you modern games instead of ancient shit
Add ChronoTrigger to the SNES one and I will
Sure I do. Sometimes I just feel like playing Mario Bros 3 and it's more convenient than having to find a fucking ROM.
Give me my fucking GBA so I can play sonic battle
It basically is, except there’s jack shit to play. They don’t even have all of the classics from the NES and SNES. Plus most games from that eta (minus a few) have not aged well and do not hold up at all. What they really need to do is put the N64 and GBA up, that’s what will really sell consoles.
I played Kirby's Adventure and that's it
>having problems to find roms
I do play the SNES ones more often. The problem with NES games is that most of them haven't really aged very well. The NES Online Library, in particular, has a bunch of games no one is interested in playing anyway.
If they updated it more often, people may remember it exists.
They need to put Earthbound Beginnings on the service
i would if i didn't have to pay for it, but i never will pay nintendo a fee to play online, fuck them.
>Try to play Super Mario World on SNES Online
>Default button for the spin jump is awful
>Can't remap the controls
Such a load of shit
I played Mario 3, The Lost Levels, Gradius, Zelda 1, Punch Out, and Crystalis.
I'm still waiting.
No I never bought Switch online. Come to think of it I haven't used my Switch period in several years.
Adventures of Lolo is a good puzzle. It took me 5 hours to finish the game.
Don't you have one ready.
I had those for my PS2.
>most games from that eta (minus a few) have not aged well and do not hold up at all.
>put the N64 and GBA up
=/
N64 aged worse than NES and SNES. It's one thing to play a simple game with pixelated graphics at 60 fps, another to play a game with terrible 3D models that vary from 15-25 fps and have shitty controls. Oh, and whose graphics are so bad that it's practically impossible to look at them on an LCD screen without feeling visceral repulsion.
>You never touch these
That's what he said.
I love NES games and its comfy having a few nice ones on my favored handheld portable gaming devices. Playing SMB3 in bed is very comfy. Although the selection of games available could be alot better if they had more third party support. Would love to see Contra and Super C but that kind of crap is locked in the Konami Collection.
>mother
but that game is unironically garbage. Sure Mother 2 and 3 are great but the first game is a waste of time.
I rarely pick the NES one, but I did spend a good time with the SNES emulator
I mean, that's technically true, but that's because I don't have an online subscription
Mother 1 is great though. It's the one I also find myself coming back to.
I mean that used to be the case. Then quarantine.
sorry thumblet
Nah play them a fair bit after I got these.
yeah but having them makes me feel superior to the filthy poors.
Not gonna lie I’ve played a couple hours of Donkey Kong, DK Jr., DK3, Punch-Out!! and Dr. Mario.
only fucking nintendo could get away with pumping out the absolute garbage-tier snes/nes online service and have people defend it
there's just no excuse for this but i guess what can you expect from a company as inept as nintendo who will continue to do the bare fucking minimum
I played Ninja Gaiden and Miami Vice when they launched but I prefer to stick with my 3ds for emulation
How much work would it take for nintendo to release the entire library for every console? It would take a few laywers a couple of phone calls and some intern half a day to write up a game libary index. DONE. FUCKING GOOOOOKS
I play Ninja Gaiden, Zelda 2 and Journey to Sillius. I'd play Castlevania and Contra but that's not happening.
>he's a tendie
>he doesn't keep a complete archive of roms for every nintendo console up to 64
>he doesn't know where to find roms
let me guess, you're american
You're right IT's a waste of nintento's time. Corperations are too greedy they want nintendo to pay up.
Give us esshop titles like cooking mama
Give us subscription benefits like if you play smash you unlock everything immediately.
Go back to watching Ninja streams zoomer, sorry N64 era isn't trendy enough for you
And that probably why nintendos not even bothering adding more games on it.
I play Twinbee all the time. I played LoZ and Mario Bros to completion on it as well. Double Dragon every now and then. Gradius too fairly regularly.
Played Super Metroid for the first time thanks to the SNES app too.
Maybe I would if they actually put some fucking games anybody gives a shit on them
It fucking baffles me why they don't just throw literally the entirety of the nintendo developed library on there all at once.
I play the shit out of clu clu land
The games perfect
I played Punch Out, Blaster Master, Crystalis, River City Ransom, and Kirby.
Couldn't beat Punch Out.
In my opinion NES games aged way better than SNES. SNES games all look washed out and have sprites that are too big for the screen.
Pretty much every classic game that has had endless sequels originated on the NES, can't say the same for SNES. Although I still love SNES
Why not just emulate these games on your phone with a keychain bluetooth controller?
Remember that piracy is a service issue. Why bother with this when I can play every single NES/FC game I want in any configuration I desire, complete with rom hacks, improvements, decensor patches, fan translations, etc. To top it all off, I can play NES games on pretty much anything with a processor, screen, and controller input.
yep they're just like you no one touches them
I had Mike Tyson's Punch Out growing up and that game was hard as shit.
Good for you
Remilia a SHIT!
I play the snes ones tho
I play Balloon Fight occasionally and I'm currently playing through Super Metroid. Not that long ago I played Breath of Fire 1. A lot of these games I never played when I was young, so it's nice to be able to have them conveniently on the Switch.
got like 15 hours on each of them
I play the mainstream stuff. I like going back to Mario 3 every now and again but yeah, I rarely touch the NES stuff. I stick with SNES stuff.
Shit like this is why we can’t have Nintendo collectible roms in animal crossing
I played through Crystalis for the first time a few months ago and had a blast. Drew my own maps and everything
What the fuck are those disgusting things
why would i? i have hacked switch for emulation and lite for normal games
>nooooo why dont they have these old games that you will play few times
What’s the point they are better off having something like gameboy or something and having mini games they made up
I don’t know you fucking turf, it’s charming.
I'm okay with shit as long as its brand new shit.
This is the chad choice
Im kinda pissed though that the coral came out so much later. Animal crossing doesnt let you transfer your save to a new switch.
So i have to dissamble and swap the cases once I get a coral. Fuck Nintendo.
