Why was Incredibles 1 so kino?

It's essentially a James Bond movie with superpowers.

AMOS MOSES WAS A CAJUN
HE LIVED BY HISSELF IN THE SWAMP

YAHWEEEEEEEEEEE
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOH

GET OUT OF MY STOOOOOOOOOORE

YEAHWEEEEEEEEEEE
OHHHHHHHHHH

Is the second Incredibles movie worth a watch? The only thing I know about the movie is a scene with severe epilepsy risk and that made audiences quite peeved when the movie was in theatres.

hello?

heyyyyyy guysssss...............

heyyyyyyy guyssssssss..........................................................

It's shit. The whole movie is about the politics of trying to get superheroes legalised again.

Why was Incredibles 2 so shit? Why has Pixar been putting out stinker after stinker recently?

>Onward
>Incredibles 2
>Ralph Breaks The Internet

Their last good movie was Coco, which was 2017. Toy Story 4 was... okay. Wasn't a fan of how Buzz went back to TS1-tier retardation for no real reason.

no. It legitimately diminishes the first's greatness.

no it fucking sucked
I was legitimately angry walking out of theaters

Legitimately mind.

I thought onward was nice

Coco is considered good because of spics and "family values" nonsense. It's just as bad as the others you listed.

AAAADMIN ABUUUUUUUUSE
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Elastigirl was my first childhood fap and I'm not ashamed.

But it isn't.

how

Because the characters are all about idolizing each other and themselves.

your opinion isn't valid spic but ok

Ive run into the "no apaches in terraria" guy a few times. Not sure whats wrong with him, but hes funny. He'll be completely calm and pleasant, but when something slightly inconveniences him, he goes from 0-100 instantly.

Pixar always sucked cocks

it's meh, missed the soul of the originals. would've been a better movie if the businessman knew about the mind control technology and was actually utilizing it as part of a well intentioned conspiracy to legalize heroes, and fully knew screenslaver was an innocent pizza boy. the primary antagonist plot would then be largely the same, about the villain coopting that technology without him knowing to attempt to crash the ship of diplomats.

I'm not a spic though, I'm not even from that side of the planet.

shitty plot, shitty execution, shitty designs for new characters, soundtrack didn't live up to the first movie's, visuals were more uncanny since the designs for the main characters barely changed but all of them had HD hair now

I recall there was an interview with Brad Bird where he said that superhero movies are everywhere now so he wanted to do something that was more about the family than their powers.

The biggest, stupidest part of Incredibles 2 is that Bob was ruined to prop up Helen. Suddenly Bob is an asshole of a husband who learned nothing from the first movie, he hates that his wife has the gig and not him, and acts like a petulant child because of it.

get off me WOW

Hey, you want a free taco?

they punished him for the flaw that the entire first movie was about him overcoming, absolutely shit writing and no consistency given the fact that this movie LITERALLY picks up right where the first one ended

FUCK AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-

YOU ARE NOT PLAYING TERRARIA

incredibles had such great potential but dismiss it just to profit from jack jack
>i2 could've been years after the first one
>dash and violet are now in college doing superheroes in secret
>they now have to protect the city since their parents are too old and using their powers would be harmful to them
>recruit new superheroes and form a team
>face the cliche of one turns evil for whatever reason you want to imagine
>they have to stop him before revealing all their secret identities or some dangerous threat
it could've been a great movie but they wasted it to keep their designs intact

>JackJack
Worst part of the fucking movie. HOHO LOOK IT'S JACKJACK NOT HAVING CONTROL OF HIS POWERS LOL YOU'VE GOT LIKE THIRTY MINUTES TOTAL OF THIS SHIT AND IT'S ALL DEAD TIME

This also applies to Ralph Breaks The Internet. Both movies take a massice steaming dump on the moral of the original movie to prop up stronk wymyn.

Vanellope was always a little cunt on the inside but Helen was a fully self-actualized character so it pissed me off how they went from "THIS IS NOT ABOUT YOU" to this.

YOU GONNA SUCK THIS COCK CLEAN

Honestly the fact that there is no time skip is the BIGGEST offender. What i really wanted out of incredibles 2 was to see what the kids would have been like when they are older. maybe have jackjack not feel like he can be helpful while his siblings are out being superheroes.

It's terrible because it rehashes the exact same plot of the first movie, 5 minutes later,

i really don't understand why was it necessary to make this movie, they ignored everything that happened in the first one when easily they could've just let vanellope be in both places. during the day, let her do her thing in her arcade game and when the place closes, let her play on that online game.
>Onward
the other day i thought, what if you were in their place and only bring back the lower half of your dad? he can't hear you nor see you so what's stopping you from sucking his dick?

Jackjack could have been a plot all by himself if there was a timeskip
>teen/young adult Jackjack
>never manages to control his powers
>becomes afraid of himself and what he can do
>eventually learns to believe in himself or something

It was okay, though if you’re dipping into D&D as much as they were they should’ve just gone full bore and added more references to it than there was. The Gelatinous Cube scene was great though.

Main villain was a incel.

The Incredibles 2 felt like a Saturday Morning Cartoon when I first watched it.
Which is not necessarily a bad thing but then I realized:
>it's a fucking hour long movie
>one of the lines in the first Incredibles has Helen state that the situation they are in is not a fucking cartoon
Like Jesus.

Yas Forums has the best Yas Forums threads

I thought so too. It took me a while to understand what was going on when the movie started right after 1's ending

>his siblings finding free time to teach jack how to control his powers
>gets frustrated and decides not to be a hero anymore
>villain of the movie has the power to exchange powers with someone and does it to jack
>disaster ensures then jack uses his new power to recover his own powers and then learn to control it or something
they had a big room to write all possible plots

No, that's Megamind.

>gets frustrated and decides not to be a hero anymore
>decides since he's not a hero he must be a villain himself
>doesn't really believe in it though
>gets talked back into being good and rights his own wrongs

i would do the same, is not like he'll be able to stop me

it just feels empty most of the time. There isn't a good cohesion between arcs. Jack-Jack has powers but they spend way to long telling you about it. Violet and Dash are just tools for Bob to get through his arc. They don't really do much of anything besides watch Jack-Jack. No timeskip is probably the worst part. They didn't need it to be directly after the first movie.

>Call of the beluga
>Harry Potter RP

Fucking gold

I'm gonna play the Devil's Advocate but Incredibles 2 wasn't bad.
Sure it didn't live up to the hype but it wasn't terrible.
The opening, continuing after the first was nice, but Supers still being illegal after the Syndrome incident shouldn't have happened I feel.

The Pars weren't arrested for that and in fact were praised and just able to sorta casually go home.
Hell, people though Syndrome was a super and were sorta though he was some old one coming back.

Screenslaver should have been the full movie villain. Evelyn was BS and her reasoning for blaming supers for her parents death instead of their father's own stupidity was sorta stupid.

I liked that Helen had the lead but they should have tried to ease the rest of the family into the
action faster.

Honestly hearing some of Mr.Incredible, Elastigirl and Frozone's past was interesting.
I didn't mind Bob being a dad, it felt sorta nice and wholesome, at least until it went full jack-jack
which is were it sorta drags.

I feel like the whole "people respect and rely too much on these stupid superheroes, so I'm going to break that trust anyway I can" thing could have been a perfect continuation of the themes from the first movie, but it needed much more focus than fucking Jack-Jack babysitter the half-hour special shoved into a movie.

Okay, here are the rules:
No demons.
No werewolves.
No vampires.
