Proofread your posts before you submit them, ESL. That doesn't happen with every game. This game has a situation that you're ignoring. Fans were lied to by the developers for years. This remake is a bait & switch. Backlash for lying to fans is not small.

Y'know, I actually really want to play this game.
The gameplay looks pretty good, and the plot looks like the kind of colossal dumpster fire that as a Kingdom Hearts fan I can't get enough of. Nomura can make really cool situations and events, and is decent at getting emotions across, but he can't make a story that isn't a massive fucking mess to save his life. I wouldn't have it any other way.
But fuck buying it full price, Imma wait until it inevitably drops down.

Secondly they didn't just add new content. They changed the story. If they only added new content everything would be fine because that would align with what everybody expected. If you're going to insist that would be boring, that's fine, but it would be honest. If you're going to insist that nobody who pre-ordered and bought the game wanted a 1:1 remake you are incorrect. People absolutely did not buy the game thinking it would be an Advent Children spin-off.

Players were not told by the media that this game would be a spin-off. The overwhelming majority of people that were not scrutinizing the trailers with a magnifying glass believe that the story will be the same in the remake. The reaction is not going to be what you think.
