Pre-ordered mine on Amazon yesterday (Switch version), hopefully it arrives soon after release. I am greatly looking forward to it as I played through Neill Corlett's translation a good dozen times or more since 2000, and a couple of runs on Collection of Mana, too.

My first team will be Riesz (Light), Angela (Light) and Hawkeye (Dark).

From my experience of the demo I am concerned about difficulty so I am hoping avoiding the other three characters will make a Game Over more likely.

It can be pretty consistently good.

It's slightly less anime bullshit than 1, but not by much. It does manage to feel more desperate, which I enjoyed.

The final mission involving the enemy's Valkyria is raw fucking bullshit though and I never finished the game in protest of how it throws mechanics that have been established for the past 40 hours out the window for drama.

.hack gu had a similar 3 person party action combat but it's nowhere near as fluid or enjoyable.
