How do i get better at this game? I seem to get destroyed by enemies easily and feel like im doing no damage. Im early game and i got destroyed when i entered the well in the starting village bug maybe i went to early. Any tips? I dont know wat armor is good or how to upgrade my shit. I kinda dropped the game bc of this but will get back into when i know what im doing

90% of your damage comes from weapons so get the best ones you possible can at whatever point you are in the story and upgrade them to the max you can do.
Go to the weapon guy, he mentions masterworks, and buy and upgrade your stuff from him.

The game will get much easier very soon, focus on story missions until you first get to the big city then you can go back to the starting zone and finish off any side quests it will be much much easier that way, I don't know why they made it like this but everybody gets rekt by the well saurians the first time.

Upgrade your gear regularly and get augments that improve your damage stat (Str/Mag depending on class) but this doesn't really apply early game. For the early game get some levels up, and try to exploit enemies weak spots and elemental weaknesses. For the Lizards that's Ice and the tail. Pawns will usually shout out shit like "Tis weak to X!" "Go for the Y!" and so on

You have to start out slowly, killing gobbos and wolves and doing quests.
It's worth noting that your stats level with your vocation so if you want to play as a certain vocation it's generally a good idea to play a similar one e.g strider->sorcerer->magick archer although it's important to max all vocations as you get perks you can slot in by doing so.

Get to Gran Soren first, just follow the main quest. I wouldn't be fucking with the well as a noob for like 10 hours

1 and 2 are great, more serious but great. 4 is the odd one
