Yes, they can. There is an upcoming DLC that most people expected to come in March, but it has been postponed to late May/June, and there is most likely at least one more DLC after that before we even see a teaser for WH3.

I love the variety between factions. People suck a lot of dick of other games in the series, but a lot of them, like romance and shogun, are so fucking samey every single time you play, it kills me.
I DO wish sieges were more fun since late game is literally sieges nonstop, but I still have way more fun long term with this than anything else.
