Why aren't you still playing it?

Because there is a new product called nintendo switch

I just got hooked on the new FF gacha, so I've been using my tablet again. Still love both my hacked and unhacked 3DSes

What are some hidden gems you can recommend?

I am, I put snake eater 3d and street fighter 4 on it yesterday, along with 100 gameboy and gameboy advance games I'll never play. Between this and a DS r4 card I'm set for a while.

Any other 3ds games I should play? completed OoT3d last week too, it was great.

but i still do, it's a shame no one cares just because nintendo released a new turd in 2017.

The games I've been playing are all mainline nintendo entries or n64 remakes.

The real hidden gem is the gba emulation.

But I am, my 3DS is chock full of games.

I can't buy the games for it due to Gamestop under lockdown, and I have a big enough backlog on Steam as it is.

I just played mine last night. MH4U is so good.

Style Savvy something or other and 7th Dragon are both great at what they aim for, and Fantasy Life is very relaxing to play (if a little simplistic).

I have no idea what people know about or what's popular though, so I don't know. I could probably give better hidden gem suggestions for NDS because I tried anything that seemed remotely interesting, though some names escape me to this day sadly.

I've been carrying it around with me recently but haven't found the urge to play anything.

Sadly, for whatever reason, that includes Dai Gyakuten Saiban, which is uncharacteristic of me.

NDS games would be good too. A hidden gem is basically anything not first party nintendo or SMT.

Not really hidden, but I guess Bravely default (the first one) and kid ikarus uprising.

Hotel dusk and last window. Try out Ouendan too.

>Snake Eater on a 3ds
Dont do it to yourself user, the fps is atrocious.

KI: U was fucking amazing. Broke my L button playing it.

I peeled off mine, so I feel you brother.

>The 3DS I got on release day stopped working back in 2017
>Yet the DS Lite I got on release day ALMOST 14 YEARS AGO still works like a charm
What the hell?

My 3DS has trouble reading my AceKard 2i. I have to push it in just right for it to read and load.

Is there a better DS flash card solution out there?

Because I’m busy with other games. I have a metric shitton of DS and 3DS games to finish.

I am. I'm playing Mega Man and Bass on it.

And I FUCKING HATE THAT GAME

What are on the top of your list for each?

TWilight Menu++

>Dai Gyakuten Saiban,
fan translation was okay but the mainline games are better. Even spirit of justice was more interesting.

Ace attorney/jonathon Creek crossover when?

Currently playing through SMT SJ redux while quarantined, game's real good. Don't know how it compares to the original though. Planning to play IV-A after replaying IV to get the neutral route, was a chaosfag last playthrough. Life's good, and the 3DS really scratches that SMT itch.

>Vita outlasted the 3DS

I still can't believe it

I'll try, but it'll take awhile to find the names since my memory is very hazy and my Acekard finally died just now after years of service.

What is SMT and how do I get into it? Where do I start? I have a 3ds and ds.

>Buying 3DS games

user, I bought several 3DS games but there's no reason to buy 3DS games now, considering they're more expensive and hard to find

Just hack your 3DS and enjoy NES, SNES, GBC, GBA and all the DS library

I downloaded about 100 games on it, only played a few and haven't touched my 3ds ever since

Explorers of Sky and FE Fates
Right now I’m trying to finish BotW after three years and grinding stupid shit in War Thunder

What is the benefit of an unhacked 3DS?

I just finished robobot. It was okay. Gonna replay ff5 or try Metroid 3ds

Based
>MH3U, 4U, Gen and XX in the same console

You can go on the estore and buy games.

I'm playing rune factory 4 on the switch and it has already taken 60 hours from my life, you can get the 3ds version if you don't have the switch, it's still good.

Motherfucking RADIO HAMMER
E.X. Troopers is as good as Kid Icarus, you don't need to know japanese to enjoy it.
Rhythm Heaven Megamix has an annoying story mode but a nice amount of games through the series.

literally nothing

ff5 I grinded everyone to get all the inate abilities so the base class and mimic were OP then I saved outside the final bosses room without going in and stopped playing for whatever reason. I have a habit of getting to the last dungeons in old ff games and just throwing them out.

...

PLAY THE DENPA MEN!!!

The DS lite, despite having a flimsy build, has very resistant internals, so if you took care of it, it should last forever. Newer electronics are just not the same.

I am! Yokai Watch 3 is okay. RNG the game(tm), but an absurd ammount of stuff to do. I love the Hazy Lane. Also this is the best console to play Shovel Knight and Curse of the Moon in.

>4U didn’t get a Wii U port
>only choice is to play it on a small screen with 1980s resolution
Fuck you Capcom.

>You can go on the estore and buy games.

Kek, I was hyped for Bravely Default II after playing the demo and decided to check the eShop for Bravely Default I

>Fuckin $40 plus tip

That was a big Yikes for me and decided to hack my 3DS

ok thank for cias

Shin Megami Tensei. Demon collecting RPG. If you don't mind confusing maps, play SMT IV first. If you do, play SMTIV: Apocalypse with the knowledge that it's tonally different from every other game though has the best gameplay. If you enjoy dungeon crawlers, play Strange Journey Redux.

>tfw 100%'d four Picross games since the quarantine started
Feels kinda pointless though knowing I could be playing something else.
Plus the puzzles are kind of braindead, they don't require much thought.

Spectrobes and the LoZ games were fun too.

I lost my charger. Would love to play New Leaf after the disappointment that New Horizons was.

You can make a makeshift charger with a USB cable if you want to.

Will New 3DS XL's be hard to buy in the future?

I stepped on mine and now the upper screen has this weird light that makes the screen real bright and I can't see the top of it.
I don't know how to fix it or I would.
The screen is in tact but I must have internally broke a light in it or something.

Very good, consoomer

I can't, I'm not a homosexual or transsexual.

Just buy a new one. Dirt cheap and hacking is easier than ever.

>Tfw playing the orchestra recording version of DQ VIII plus uncensored

I thought it was a meme but pirate chads truly win in the end

What this kind user said. Would also recommend the remade 3DS Devil Survivor games if you've got the time. Really fun spinoff games with different gameplay compared to mainline but still retains the unique battle system. Check out pic rel if you want to dig deeper. It's good shit.
