Rune Factory 4 is a good game. The other worth playing games are Dragon Quest Builders 2 and Animal Crossing which are just as good. There is no need to pit these excellent games to one another. I'll not entertain your flame bait.

Don't get too overwhelmed by the amount of info, just take it in slowly.
Another thing is crafting and how OP and autistic it can get later on but don't worry about that as you won't have the best materials for that yet.
Also buy magnifying glasses and upgrade them onto your farming tools so you don't have to keep pulling it out to see the info on the soil quality.

You can stay up to 5:59AM every day and sleep for one minute per day. Most people end up going to sleep around 10 or 11pm because it makes sense, or because other HM/RF-type games have consequences for staying up too late regularly, but in RF4 the only consequence is that you don't gain Sleeping XP, which doesn't really do much. It gives a negligible boost to your max HP/RP levels that you don't really need to worry about minmaxing. You'll gain the xp anyway on days where you don't stay up to the last minute, and you get those stats from a gorillion other xp level types.

It looks so fucking trash on the Switch, literally zero work went in to trying to make the 3DS level assets look more pleasant on the bigger screen. Plus all the characters are the cringiest, tropey one-dimensional anime personalities you have ever seen in your life. Don't play it and spend your time elsewhere.
