The pacing of the game was killed badly by the the two character system and item sorting system.
In addition the locations aren't as memorable as other locations in the franchise outside of the train and some of the boss fights just felt outright boring like the final boss.

It's a pleb filter due to its difficulty, basically bustas complaining cuz they got pleb filtered. bosses are meh tho

The story was shit gameplay mechanics were annoying and it sure as hell lacked unique monsters or creatures.

No item boxes was an interesting idea but doesn't work out. The partner system is clunky and unnecessary. The bosses are some of the worst in the series (especially the bat and leech queen). Enemies are stupid and annoying (monkeys, leechmen). The leeches thing is beyond retarded, even for an RE game. The training facility is boring and a poor imitation of REmake's mansion (the train was cool though, it should have been longer). It feels off mechanically, especially after REmake.

0 and cv get a lot of undue hate imho
gameplaywise they are fine, but for me, as far as 0 is concerned i'll elaborate on cv too if you want it never really captured the atmosphere of the other games. i think in large this is due to the over reliance on animal enemies. i know the other games had them, and i love them, but 0 just went all out with it and it hurt its believability for me. i mean you find a giant fucking scorpion on a train in the first 5 minutes of the game. it's not doing anything, just dancing around to prevent you from moving forward, wtf?
i see a lot of other people trash it for not having an item box, or because it fucks the lore up big time

i don't see how you can see it as clunky but not criticize 2? they had the same control scheme. also, it aging poorly is just an opinion, that mansion is iconic as fuck and the layout is incredibly well thought out because you can do certain objectives in different orders. not to mention the atmosphere is fantastic.

Remake 2 compared to OG is no S and will go down to A because I could at least give it the benefit of the doubt that it was a nice technical achievement.

5 contains more content than all of the fucking rest and still has great moments along with a kick ass soundtrack. There's also nice subtle creepy moments and the co op was actually done right compared to trash like RE0. Also, it had a decent story compared to the rest.
