Better than literally anything else that’s come out since

Absolutely unless you are really autistic about realism. The plot is silly, but the gameplay and audio-visuals are amazing. DLC missions are among the very best so get them as well.

Yes
It's the only game I've been excited for in years

You can try it on gamepass and find out user, it's pretty decent though

I am a snoy, but if its as kino as people say I’ll gladly buy it. I used to pirate games as a kid, now I gladly support developers who make games with soul.

Get the DLC while you're at it.

They absolutely poured every inch of soul they've had into this game. It came so close to being cancelled, but the game director himself went to the board and single-handedly convinced them to give him and his team a chance.
This game is a miracle and I'm so happy the franchise is back on track.

The wonderful thing is that it comes through in the game
Kobayashi knocked it out of the fucking park with the soundtrack, the story is supreme, trigger is the best protagonist since Scarface 1
Count, Wiseman, Huixan, and Bandog are all authentic
You can tell in every facet of the game that they thought this might be the last AC game they ever made

It's fantastic, the story is weaker than I'd like it to be due to the Dev cycle but everything else more than makes up for it. The dlc missions are the best content in the game.

GIVE ME THE VR MISSIONS ON PC

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

>it was a timed exclusive to ps4 til january 2020
>corona happened

The game's great, but it's worth it for the music alone.

That doesn't mean they were ever going to actually port it to PC. RE7's VR mode was exclusive to PS4 for one year and we still don't have it on PC 3 years after release.

yes
is the second best game released last year
possible the best one if you are a contrarian faggot

Favorite game this gen with Doom Eternal and maybe DMC5.

Attached: 1578959521371.jpg (3440x1440, 2.96M)

they released the aniversary skins

that means they are still working on the game

What do you rate number 1? Sekiro?

DMCV actualy, god 2019 was a amazing year

Attached: 2019.jpg (3264x2225, 2.17M)

I'm a big DMCfag AC7 was easily the better game

no
shit taste

Shit tastes.

I installed this off the game pass and I cannot for the life of me fly efficiently. I took 30 minutes on the first mission where you had to fight anything. How do I keep track of enemies better?

Both are great and can swagger side by side as "Japanese games that fell for the western pandering meme before returning to grace in full force" cousins.

>make games with soul.
You absolutely won't be disappointed then

I never realized how fucking good this track was without David talking over it until I listened to the entire OST.

GUYS
didnt the princess die in the last missions?

Nah, it was a fake out.

It's unlikely user had a job during those other years to buy games.

I thought you meant the PC gamepass and I looked it up

how do you add the song that's responsible of the motif in almost the entire soundtrack after deadline had passed?

Attached: John_hava_ac_legacy.png (158x140, 27.86K)

>Is the best game of 2019 worth it?
Gee, I dunno, user. That was a whole year ago.

by being a daredevil

Obviously the motif was already present in the soundtrack before that song was composed.

FUCK YOU

Attached: 2000.jpg (768x768, 226.25K)

is the dlc worth it?

it's better than the main game

Absolutely, the only downside to the DLC is the quality of the missions is going to give people overly inflated expectations for how good AC8 is going to be.

>He literally asked a masterpiece to go like it was a McDonalds and Kobayashi delivered
Holy fuck this madman composer

Attached: Pixy.jpg (380x544, 15.76K)

yes and also the soundtrack knocks it out of the park

fucking hell guys you could had atleast lied to me

Attached: Max Pomf 6.jpg (640x480, 163.23K)

I know this is going to sound like a scrub mentality, but get the season pass and use one of the DLC planes until you get used to flying. Don't use it as a crutch to get yourself through the entire game, but for a brand new player trying to get used to the controls while being stuck in the starter plane is a nightmare.

>4:11 and onwards

Attached: 1573600998005.jpg (934x834, 144.17K)

>tfw Jaeger has to take over the mission briefings
>He struggles with the display system and has trouble getting the maps up in a timely manner

Is he gonna tell his son about that?

Super Hornet flies fucking perfectly and you can unlock it almost instantly, dude.

It's on xbox game pass which is xbox/windows

Which is why I said not to use a superplane as a crutch the entire game, but the F16 in AC7 is horrendously bad.

Favorite (main story) missions?
18 had me feeling all kinds of nostalgic for the franchise as a whole, one of the best missions throughout the entire series, in my opinion.

Been waiting for this to drop, I only ever dabbled in AC4 ages ago, so this will be my first one to really dive in. Looking forward to it.

I was gonna say Lost Kingdom but that's also mission 18

Unironically Daredevil. The massive furball at the start followed by taking down the Arsenal Bird was excellent.

It's good but you can tell where they had to cut things out, so playing it is kind of frustrating. If you've never played an AC game before it's better to start with the PS2 games.

user do yourself a favor and play 5 and Zero too. You'll appreciate all the nods even more.

Each game is no longer than 5 hours

I would complain about the motif playing way too many times but the motif is great so fuck it
Dual Wielder is amazing.
Also youtube.com/watch?v=2QKAOTlxmYY

its a good ace combat game
but its a bad game

>We added a new song after the deadline
>Daredevil

Probably Mission 7 for me, whole thing after the beginning felt pretty tense and I loved the setting as well, one of the best looking locations in the game and it especially made for a nice ''arena'' for the first Mister X dogfight

Attached: 1556830935350.jpg (462x459, 20.47K)

yes

Thanks, Ive seen the threads about 0, 4 and 5 being the must plays. I'll have to try and emulate them on my toaster.

how old is mobius 1 anyway?
is he in ace combat 3?

Great game, but the main story should've been like the DLC. Mihaly is a shitty antagonist

check this guide. It helps a lot youtube.com/watch?v=H-z4rt3TRGA

Long day for me, the banter was great

>you can to obtain aircraft, weapon, and aircraft parts at the the Aircraft Tree to gain the upper hand in missions.

Yeesh, never seen a typo like this in a game before. Is this what people mean when they say it had a troubled dev cycle?

Mission 6, I learned to git gud then the rest of the game got easier.

mihaly is not the antagonist he is the rival

>how old is mobius 1 anyway?
Old enough to be a respected veteran in 4, though not to the extent of being able to order around the entire fucking air force in mission 1 like Talisman.

>Mihaly
>antagonist
brainlet

HIGH SPEED PIZZA DELIVERY

I meant guy that's not you but is also good at flying. Belka is always the bad guy

Omega calls him an old timer in 7. I wonder what his real age is

you can get the F-2A almost immediately and that's a great plane

considering he was the mc from ACzero i think he did a pretty good job

Ignore that guy, use this

Jesus Christ, listening to the song while READING this moved me to tears. They really know what they're doing.

The troubled dev cycle is overblown, the main problem was getting the cloud rendering middleware to work with UE4 and the gameplay mechanics they wanted to incorporate, and they ended up needing to get Namco's crack engineering team to make it work. Any story issues people talk about is simply them revising the story to put more emphasis on drones instead of the quadruple ruse conspiracy they were originally going with, and the story and dialogue were all finalized years before the game was released, which the dub VAs have noted is very rare for a localized Japanese game.

>WHOAHOHOHOHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

What's the best plane in the game? I'm flying the Mig 31 and F18 right now

F-22/A.

what a silly question.

I see, thanks for the info.
