After the plate falls, Cloud, Tifa and Barret go underground of Sector 7 to look for possible survivors. One of Wedge's cats lead them to Wedge and then the ground breaks and they fall down to Shinra's secret lab. They get separated and you plays Barret for awhile. Tifa gets raped by bugs and once you are done with jacking off you rescue her. Then you find more strange enemies not unlike Heartless and there's a boss battle against giant Heartless. When Barret and Tifa defeat it, Cloud finally jumps in to pin the monster down so Barret can use his classic limit break to blow it. Behing the giant Heartless are glass tubes with himan in each and Cloud is remembering his time in similiar tube and ge was about to tell how he actually wasnt a Soldier but Time Jannies cut him off and blows the gang back to Wedge.

It's past yes. In this game's past Zack actually managed to bring Cloud back to Midgar. It symbolizes a circle coming to full, as present Cloud is leaving Midgar and past Cloud is arriving it. Present Aerith also sensed Zack as the past image walked past them.
When does that happen?

There's not 2 Clouds. The Zack Lives Cloud who's being dragged to Midgar is the past version of The Cloud leaving the Midgar at the end of the Remake

Both. The cloud being dragged to Midgar is the same Cloud you play as and he is the same guy leaving the Midgar after you defeat Time Jannies. The scene showing both Clouds are about future and past. Only Aerith sensed Zack when the images of both past and present walked into each other
