He makes valid points, but smash is not focused on competitive regardless.

Smash bros is a party game, stop wasting your time talking about competitive merits that it never intended to me.

melee is the best competitive smash game and it always will be.

also the addition of parrying was entirely just for flashiness to pretend like the game is actually a real fighting game. why would they make half the cast projectile spammers and then also make all the DLC projectile spammers and then remove the ability to skillfully deflect projectiles via good timing?

I'm just waiting for the P:M version of Ultimate to be playable on zuzu with improved online and balance at this point

Shieldstun needs an overall reduction and less pushback on hit.

They brought in competitive players to help balance the game for a competitive setting.

The sheer advantage fast characters have cannot be overstated. It doesn't matter if you can't hit hard as long as you can't be punished for missing.
