Fuck off faggot

Play Cliff Empires

Why so angry

Yeah heard it's good, will probably buy it on sale someday

Anyone played Driftland? It's been in last monthly and I'm wondering if it's worth a buy from some reseller for 1-2$.

Dwarf Fortress
Rise to Ruins
Rimworld

>dorf fort
waiting for steam version because I'm not that autistic
>rise to ruins
haven't played that in a while, is it better?
>rimworld
same as above, but don't feel like playing it really, there's something missing and it ends up being not that much fun

I'm on a RTS binge. Currently finishing Kohan campaign on hard difficulty, then I'm moving to MechCommander 1 (more RTT than RTS, I know). Next I'm wondering if I should move to Supcom1, Dawn of War 1 or Homeworld.

How's the dlc for the new anno?

>is it better?
Better, but fundamentally the same thing

No idea, I didn't want to pre-order and I despise EGS and uPlay so I didn't play the 1800

Have to try it. Come to think of it, have yet to see any of the content from Season 1 too. The game is so huge as it is, getting to the point where you get to see that stuff takes a while.

Play SC2 mp

>Play Cliff Empires
its not really that great. Its fun and interesting but it gets stale quickly after you realize what you are doing. Literally waiting simulator. End game is just horrible. Great concept but needs some improvement.

what are some really good city builders that I can play on my shitty laptop?

Anno 1800 is kino as fuck, from the soundtrack up to the ability to walk through your city in first person

what about fish tank simulator games? I wonder if they've made this into a gatcha game already?

I forgot about this game. Fucking based. There was another game we would play in the school library. It had two planes fighting over an island and viewed side on. Shit was kino.

I liked it, but I bought it on steam. And last time I looked I couldn't buy the dlc or it looked like a cashgrab or whatever

btw Bannermen are on sale
worth it?

>still no crack

Sunken treasures is definitly worth it. Adds the largest landmass in the game where you can build a massive city.

Ms paint

started playing cities: skylines recently
scratched my comfy itch pretty hard

when is it coming to steam tho

Starcraft III will happen, right bros?

If it happens it will be shit. Don't forget that all the people who made Blizzard great has jumped ship

Encourage me to play Homeworld remastered. I pirated them a time ago but still didn't touch them.

Dawn of War is my favourite base builder RTS. Shame about the sequels.

Been playing Surviving Mars but it seems like the end game is just waiting for all the terraforming stats to hit max while you're essentially doing busy work building more cities for your colony.
Am I doing it wrong and do the DLCs add extra things to do?

when its dropping DRM and upay?

SOON

If they commission it to some other studio, it will end up great.
starcraft would end up like the witcher in terms of games 1>3>2

What city builders are the most toaster friendly?

Anno 1404, old Pharaoh

>Ancient Cities
>Foundation
>Godhood

More info? googling them gives me random stuff

>Enjoyed the fuck out of Emperor
>Buy Pharaoh + Cleopatra expecting more of the same

Appreciated. Isn't there a Greek version of Pharoah too?

SimCity 2000

Kek
I do hope one day pharaoh and Caesar gets revamped with the emperor engine/mechanics

I think it's called Zeus senpai

>what is Nebuchadnezzar

That sounds right, I remember seeing it in older city builder threads and thinking it looked charming

yeah cant discuss actual video games here!

>that pic
What game?

IRL. Don't bother, it's shit.

The series goes Caesar 1, 2, 3, Pharaoh, Zeus and Emperor and they're all suitable for toasters. Caesar 1-3 are the roughest in terms of gameplay, UI and general difficulty. Pharaoh sets up what the later games would build on interface-wise but shares the same crushing difficulty of Caesar. Zeus polishes the mechanics of Pharaoh but becomes far too easy as a result. Emperor is the last game in the series and has by far the most refined UI and mechanics as well as the most balanced difficulty.
also there's caesar IV but lol i dunno

Name literally translates to "original chad"

Just started playing Age of Mythology. The sheer amount of variety is amazing. Does the AI ever rebuild TCs though? I only played a few games on Moderate so far and it seems that they don't.

Why there's no underwater city builder?

I'll probably go Pharoah then Zues because my first RTS was AoM, which I played like a city builder anyway since I was 12 and couldn't into troop micromanagement.

I think Caesar's getting an open-source engine remake that adds roadblocks.
