Most people who cosplay do tend to be very attention seeking. Its escapism, looking to show your love and immersion in a fictional world for some. For others its a chance to dress sexy or cute in public. Now does this fuck over relationships? Probably not, but it can.

from experience, cons during the day are a good place to daygame/cold approach if not just for the volume of attractive girls there. Same is true of any festival or gathering but if you're specifically looking for a gamer/weeb gf it's probably your best bet.

At cons only like 35% of the time. I usually am not in a position to get laid, since I am sharing a hotel room with people. It would be a dick move to sexhile someone paying a good chunk of the hotel bill.

The biggest tip is to not treat someone like a piece of meat that you are entitled to. Treating someone nicely and making them smile goes a long way. If you make a conscious effort to get laid while still understanding that the other person is a person it works wonders. Read body language to tell if they are uncomfortable, try to make them laugh, treat them well but don't be desperate.
