I don't know why game devs still use UE4 anyway. Unless you're using it to make a fighting game so you can bake in LODs and particle effects exactly how you want them the game is going to look like complete garbage in any kind of run because the lighting system is fucking outdated by 8 years and the LOD priority is fucked to high hell in order for it to act like it's optimized when in reality it's the engine determining what can be loaded and what can't in order for it to maintain a stable fps.
I'd honestly rather have a non-stable 30fps in games if it means texture pop-in is happening constantly right in front of my face and low polygon models are everywhere because the engine literally forgot to load in the high polygon/resolution bitmap.
Say what you want about Unity and Source 2 having devs that want to melt your Processor and GPU, at least the engines don't actively try to fuck over the graphic fidelity of the game in order to give itself the appearance that it isn't shitting brick on your system.

Capcom's RE Engine is pretty kino. Konami's Fox Engine for MGSV was also great. Not to mention Guerrilla Games' Decima or Naughty Dog's and Santa Monica's respective in-house engines. Why can't Squeenix come up with their own engine?
Unity is actually pretty optimized and can run like nothing if modern-day developers didn't leave so much junk code and weren't lazy.
Seriously, there's literally no reason for developers to have an engine effectively load an entire additional game's worth of coding just to reuse a few assets from an older one.
Bethesda isn't the only one who does that shit. Pretty much every AAA studio has this really retarded habit of just stuffing an engine full of fucking garbage code that does nothing just so the programmers won't have to deal with possible error codes while reusing assets.
