It's pretty stable now. That inventory stripping hack was patched out within a week. There's still some hackers and bugs appearing from time to time but it's got a stable performance and almost bug-free compared to when it launched. Wastelanders will bring even more bugfixes and fallout 3/nv style dialogue and quests. Critic reviews for wastelanders have been highly favorable for the most part.

I had completelly forgotten that bunder. Guess I'll check the reviews in a couple weeks to have a laugh

Zenimax acquired a multiplayer game studio and tried to make them work on something more unique than another tf2/overwatch clone.

It’s pretty ok now so nothing. Keep in mind that we live in a timeline where PUBG and Fortnite were the two biggest hits for years. Compared to those even FO76 is a masterpiece.

game didn't need human NPCs, it would be enough to have well written supermutants, ghouls, robots etc. giving you quests
game had 0 PvP
monetization is garbage, it would be much better to have normal DLC

I'm not sure about campaign, as i never buy games in full price, but i think you will have to buy doom coins to have access to DLCs, in rage 2 you need bethesda.net to get preorder bonus and DLC and even than you still need buy in game currency for other DLCs

You can easily find a copy cheaper than $10 especially on console. Playing this on xbox, no buyer's remorse.

I got Fallout 76 few weeks ago for pennies and I have actually enjoyed playing it for a week once I got passed the learning curve(if you can call it that).
It's pretty much Fallout 4 but without NPC. Let's be honest, story and quests were so shit in 4 that the game would have been better without them. 76 has better and more interesting locations. So if you liked 4 for exploring you'll like 76.
Biggest downside of 76 of course is always online so there is some lag even if you want to play alone and that means that some locations will be cleared of enemies when you get there, it's pretty annoying. You have to pay a monthly subscription to avoid that. And another downside is that there is no mod support

FO76 is the least fun game I've ever played. It's not even so bad you can be entertained, it's just relentlessly pointless and bland

There were literal people e-mailing the devs sending videos and clips of glitches/game breaking shit they found trying to plead to them they want to help fix the game....they fucking banned them and did nothing about it.

What kind of a logic is that? If the whales were generating a lot of money it would have already gone f2p. There is barely anything worth buying for real money in F76 and anything that is worth buying you can get for the atoms that you get as a new player. It's shocking how bad the items in the shop are considering they have a paid team making those and you compare them to the mods people make for F4. It still costs money because that is the primary income for them right now

Don't think so. One of the things they're pushing is that current F76 owners who link their account to steam before the Wastelanders update/steam release will get the steam version for free.

Steam launch will be with the Wastelanders update, but it's also the day the patch goes live in general, so expect it to be unplayable due to whatever bugs that might introduce.
