Yes, the bomber notebook updates are exactly the best thing about it, and I'm really not joking.

It's far better compared to the original because the newer bomber notebook tells you *less* than the original did, and that's exactly why it updates so often, it fills stuff in only after you find relevant information about something, instead of magically telling you about every event a character has as soon as you meet them. It goes from being nonsense to being something sensible that encourages investigation, and investigation into a character can be more thorough and in depth because you can re-load owl statue saves. That's why the game gives you 'more clues', i.e. it needs to make up for withholding information the original just gave you without reason.

They named everything except the graphics during the day. Everything was perfect. Then they fucked it all up with that ending. They were so close.
