The USB-C on my Chargeable Switch joycon mount hasn't remotely had this issue and I've had it for like 2 years now.

I have a real love/hate relationship with USB-C. When it works it works great, but I've never had so many cables die on me. Name brand ones are good but I lose them constantly and am a poorfag so i replace them with gas station/supermarket cables. Theres something about how long the metal bit is that makes it loooove bending out of the port.

Can you get some for DS Phat and PSP2000? the ones I have gotten don't last for even a day.

The metal part of the USB-C is at least 3 times as long as the Micro. And snaps into the controller at about 2/3rds of the way in so it's snug in there.

I had to alternate between multiple PS4 controllers because honestly there is alot wrong with the PS4 controller that isn't related to the battery.
I'm sure your issue isn't the battery itself but the Micro USB stops working and doesn't give the battery a charge because doesn't connect anymore.
