ITT: post any controller BUT the new PS5 controller
Better than a real Game^3 controller.
So, is this a salmon or something else?
Tell me about the controller. How's the right on the dpad? Youtube reviewers says it scrapes.
>yfw you see a nintendo switch
it's your controller brah
I own one of these and I love it. It's lasted longer than any DS4 I've owned and was cheaper to boot.
Realest human input device of all time.
don't even need to shoop this one to make it look like a cheap fisher-price toy
You win tonight.

>are ya winning son?

What am I looking at?

>press jump button

>NIGGA DEY ALL CHINESE
Custom. Wired it myself. Modeled after Catherine's color aesthetic. Great for puzzle games.
It ain't nothin to fuck with
I like it it's clean but the offset arrow keys I would find awkward
The offset helps to avoid wrist cramping. If you're resting your hand on the controller, your wrist is at the perfect angle for it.
that thing looks fucking 3d-printed
That looks fucking slick
It makes sense it's just not what I'm used to
Wish I still had a Wii and the game to go with it. This would be a great time to learn to play keys.
Based. I had to get a clear DS4 to pay homage to my crystal blue DS2.
How good is this controller? I bought the SN30 and I fucking hate it.
I actually just picked up a dualshock 4 last week, after being strictly mouse/keyboard for many years as far as playing on PC goes, and I fucking love it. shame to see the DS5 has deviated from the classic look so much.
I installed a $30 backbutton as well and it's super dope.
about to drop money on this. thoughts?
YO I HAVE A GREEN VERSION OF THAT REMOTE
>they are actually really nice, it's like using a Duke to play dreamcast
cursed image
are the Steam remotes really that bad? They look neat
The best way to play FF7
best 3rd party controller I've ever used
yeah they suck
the gamepad is a great controller though
Why they stopped making translucent hardware, seeing the inner components is pure joy.
they didn't?
you can buy a clear DS4 and there are plenty of faceplate/backplate translucent replacement options out there as well.
I still have this piece of shit
Translucent/transparent plastic is more brittle than opaque, so it has to be thicker to compensate. With all the shit like bluetooth and rumble and touchpads being added, there's no more space for extra plastic material.
I use this as a fight pad for kof98 it's surprisingly good
Some kind of fish
You really need a normal Dreamcast controller next to this bad boy or you can't truly appreciate its girth.
the ds4s great...while it lasts. Really poor craftsmanship, especially the charging port which seems built to fail.
don't be surprised if youre buying a new one next month
They're only good for browsing the internet with the gyro mode and the DS3 has better gyro tracking so they're completely worthless.
I have one of these as well. the only issue i've had with it was that one time it just wouldn't connect to my switch and i spent over an hour trying to figure out the problem. turned out my dumbass roommate had taken out the removable battery and put it back in upside-down. so it's a great controller and i'd definitely recommend it, but it's not idiot-proof.
Used to use this all the time until Steam started recognizing it as a Switch controller. I like using the pro controller's d-pad for media playback, so playing any sort of emulator with that controller would start fucking with the music being played.
This one is gorgeous honestly.
having been all up in its guts last week while I was installing the mod, the charging part is held in place in a interesting/finnicky way, so I can see why that my be the case. that being said, I don't see why I wouldn't just buy a replacement part for a few dollars since they're available.
if anything goes wrong with this controller, that will be my plan. it does feel solidly constructed in general though, so I honestly don't expect any issues.
I hesitate to call it my favorite but it is the most solid, no-nonsense controller I've ever used
No stupid gimmicks, no cheap feeling or ill-placed buttons, just a controller made for playing video games in the modern day
Some joker cut under the fish's mouth, severing the inside of the lower jaw so it can no longer keep it closed, and then glued some obviously fake ass eyes to it.
>shitty d-pad that registers incorrect inputs
>if you "fix" it diagonal inputs are next to impossible
If it had analog triggers it would b e 10/10 only having digital shoulders it gets an 8/10
Yet it was still one of the most durable fuckers around
Being made for kids is being made to be smashed
If you care this much about the Dpad just get an 8bitdo and modify it
What material you used for the box? Been trying to put my own arcade stick together but I'm stumped on how to get it assembled without paying $200 for one.
the switch pro would probably be my favorite if it had the same solid build quality and triggers of the xbone controller
i say it doesn't have as solid of a build because the one i got had it's left grip very slightly loose
This. The controller lasts long after fully charged. Hefty weight and its super comfy playing games with.
>just spend another $50 on another controller lol
People say every controller has a shitty d-pad.
Most do
Ordered the box from Buttercade, 3D-printed. It was about $70, I think? Came with the keys and their circuitboard. I did the rest with a Brook fight board, 20-pin harness, and Hori buttons. Grand total came to around $170.
that's because most modern controllers do have a shitty d-pad. it's just an afterthought for most controller designs
that looks like cheap 5 dollar chinese gamepad all my friends bought
